00:00Show where your imagination fills in the blanks. It's me. And now, here's your host, David Sedoni.
00:11Hey, everybody. All right. What's happening, y'all? Welcome to Mad Libs, the greatest word
00:21game in the whole wide world. A Mad Lib, that's a story where you pull out a few words and then
00:26it's up to you to fill in the blanks with your own fun, creative, imaginative, even goofy words.
00:32Today, what we're going to do is we're going to take two teams running around like crazy
00:35all over this stage through a series of physical and mental games to take that Mad Lib off the
00:40page and bring it to life. That's enough talking about it, though. What do you say we get right
00:44to the game? Bring out the teams. Come on. Come on out here, teams. All right. Let's find
00:55out who we got playing today. We'll start over here with the red team, red team. What's
00:59up? How you doing? Great. They're good. They're ready to go. Let's find out who we got, Logan.
01:04Tell me about yourself. Do you have any pets? Yeah, I've got one. What's his name? His name's
01:08Godzilla. What kind of pet is he? He's a leopard gecko. That makes sense. Godzilla, gecko, I
01:13get it. Well, good luck to you today. Oh, thanks. Your partner over here is Elise. Elise, how
01:16are you? I'm great. This is Mad Libs. Now, we're looking to find all kinds of words to fill in
01:21the blanks. So, what's your favorite word? Loquacious. That's a good word. What does
01:25loquacious mean? Really talkative. Oh, any particular reason you like that word? Yeah.
01:30Because you're really talkative? Yeah. How could I guess? So, that's the red team. Let's
01:34find out. How about the blue team? Blue team, how you doing? Good. Good, Frankie. How about
01:37you? Do you have any pets? Yeah, I have 47 pets. Wow, 47 pets. What kind are they? All different
01:43kinds? Yeah, dogs, horses, lizards, frogs. You must have a huge house. Nope. Big
01:50backyard? Nope. You must be really crowded then. All right, let's meet her teammate over
01:56here. Ben, how are you, dude? Great. Tell me, what do you like to do on the weekends after
01:59school? Uh, motocrossing, dirt biking. Cool. Do you race and stuff or do you just do it for
02:03fun? Just for fun. That's cool. Family and stuff. Give it up for both our teams. They're looking
02:07psyched and ready to go. We're pumped up. We're psyched. We're going to stick dynamite in the
02:13dictionary. Today, as we take these two teams, they're going to be trying to earn points to
02:17move them to the maximum Mad Lib. You get to the maximum Mad Lib, you have a chance to
02:20win a brand new three CD changer stereo system. Ooh, blasting the tunes. Well, in our first
02:30round, we like to let some of the kids at home get involved. How do we do that? Well, we ask
02:35them to give us a Mad Lib and then we turn it into a game. So, let's take a look at our viewer
02:41Mad Lib. Hi, I'm Julia and I'm 13 years old. Here's my Mad Lib I wrote called Bathing the
02:48Dog. I always have to chase my dog around the cotton ball before I could get him into the
02:54hot sauce. I scrub him down with lots of soap and lava. Then I spray him off with the ink
03:03pen. I can't wait to see the game. Well, Julia, it doesn't sound like your dog's going to be
03:10getting real clean. And of course, that means we're not going to be getting real clean.
03:14Let's go over here and check out our game. Come on, gang.
03:18All right. Well, first thing you got to do, you got to come over here.
03:23Guys have to run around the cotton ball and then come over to the puppies. Then they take
03:28the puppies and they come over here and they dip them three times into the hot sauce. One,
03:33two, three. Then they come over here, throw it over to their partner. Their partner catches
03:37it. And the girls have to dip them in the lava three times. One, two, three. Then you take
03:42the puppy, put them right here. And that's where the guys have to shoot the puppy off this
03:46area with their ink pens right into the bucket. The team that gets the most puppies in the
03:52buckets in 45 seconds is our winner. We like to remind everyone home that no actual puppies
03:57are harmed in playing this game. They're just stuffed animals. All right. Let's put 45 seconds
04:01up on the clock, everybody. All right, players, get in positions. Guys, at your buckets. Girls,
04:07at your buckets. On your mark, get set, go. There you go. The guys are going to get their
04:14first puppy around the cotton ball. There's the dogs. One, two, three. One, two, three.
04:19Throw it up and over. Now the girls have to dip the puppies. One, two, three. Now the guys
04:26got to spray them up into the bucket. Those are good. Around the cotton ball. Grabbing
04:31another puppy. There we go. Up and over the top. The girls, one, two, three. That hot sauce
04:42and lava can get awfully slippery. Logan's got another puppy. Ben's got another puppy up and
04:50over. Blue team just barely in the lead here. Staying ahead. Blue team's got three.
04:56Red team's got three. That's it. We're out of time. We're out of time. We're out of time. Ben,
05:03here. We're out of time. He's a poor little baby. We're going to leave him right here in the hot
05:07sauce. Come on over here, guys. That puppy hangs out in the hot sauce. Let's take a look at the
05:12scores. Red team, you got one pretty puppy, two pretty puppies, three pretty puppies. What a shiny
05:20coat. And then we'll go over here. Blue team, you got one, two, three. That means we got a
05:26tie in our first round. Way to go, everybody. Both teams get the 20 points. Let's take a look
05:33at the scores. It's looking good. Now you guys know you got a chance to get more points as
05:36we go on to round two. It's time to get madder than you. Drop your goggles. Let's go over
05:42to the next area. Come on, gang. Careful on the ramp. Don't slip in all that hot sauce and lava.
05:53All right. Now that we're all hot sauce and lavated up, we're going to find out which team
05:59is madder than the other one. The key to being a super killer mad libber, well, you got to have a
06:04super killer fat vocabulary. The bigger your vocabulary, the more chances you have to fill in
06:09all those blanks. Okay? What I'm going to do here is give you guys a category. That's where
06:14you got to come up with as many words as you can that fit into the category. Each time you get a
06:18word, you pass the hot potato over to the other team. When one of the team's blanks can't think
06:23of a word, category's over. The other team gets five points. Remember, you cannot repeat another
06:28player's answer or a different form of the same word. That's a loser also. All right, we're going to put
06:34two minutes up on the clock. Give you guys a chance to go through as many categories as you can
06:37in that time. Girls get in positions. Guys, you're up next. You're on deck. Here we go. On your mark.
06:44Get set. First category. Things that are square. Go. Block. Soccer field. No, that one. They didn't
06:54give you that one. You got to say it before you pass the hot potato. That's five points for the blue team.
06:58Going on to the next one. And besides, I think a soccer field's rectangular. Words that start with
07:04the letter R. Go. Road. Red. Red chili. Oh. That's a form of the word. Remember, you cannot repeat a form
07:14of the other player's word. That's five points for the red team. Next category. Places people go for
07:19vacation. Go. Hawaii. Mexico. Hollywood. New York. Oregon. South Carolina. Paris. North Carolina.
07:33Oregon. Oregon. Oh, five points for the blue team. Ran out of fun vacation spots. Next category. Ready?
07:42Italian foods. Let's go. Getty. Gingerbread. Gingerbread. That's close. That's close. If it's
07:51Christmas time in Italy. Five points for the blue team. Going on to the next category. Insects that fly. Go.
07:59Ladybug. A ladybug. A fly. Butterfly. Bee. Grasshopper.
08:10That's all I know, too. Five points for the blue team. All right. Going on. Next category. Ready?
08:16Jobs where you get dirty. Go. Garbage man. Construction worker. Architects. Technician. Architects.
08:26Architects. What kind of architect gets dirty? They do the drawings. It's the other guys that
08:30get dirty. Some of them do, but the judges called you on that one. That's five points for
08:34the red team. Next category. Ready? Words that rhyme with lime. Go. Sign. Time. Don't think
08:44they gave you that one. They need something with the M at the end. That's what they're looking
08:47for when they want something that rhymes with lime. That's five points for the blue team.
08:51Yes. Which means, come on in here, guys. We're out of time. We're going to take a look at the scores.
08:55That's 30 points for the red team. 45 for the blue team. Got us. That's a great game. Great game
09:00going on. And we got more great stuff coming up right after this when we check out the Mega
09:05Stunt. See you in a minute.
09:07Stay tuned. Matt lives. We'll be right back.
09:24Welcome back to Mad Libs. Let's take a look at our scoreboard. Red team, 30 points. Blue team
09:37in the lead with 45 points. Good game going on. That lead can change hand, though, because
09:42this Mega Stunt's worth 20 points. Now, this Mega Stunt, we were thinking, Mad Lib's a game
09:46about words, right? So let's call this one Kid of Many Words. How's it work? Well, you know,
09:51kids and you got to walk to school and you got to carry that big, huge backpack all full
09:55of books and stuff. Well, here we got different stuff. You got a back ball, a giant back ball
10:01that's attached to the girls. And on the back, instead of books, we have mohawks. Look at
10:08that. Mohawks. On the back of the mohawks, that's where you're going to find your words.
10:12Mime. Now, you take your words, you stick them into the Mad Lib wall right here. First team
10:16to fill up all four words, they complete the Mad Lib with their words. And we're going to
10:21punch them right into the Mad Lib. Now, girls, I want you to remember, the opposite team
10:27is going to be running after your big back balls. So Logan, you're going here after Frankie
10:32and Ben, you're cruising after Elise. So girls, put on your best move, jukes and jives. See
10:38if you can knock those guys over, but don't let them get your mohawks. All right? Remember,
10:42never let them get your mohawks. Let's get in positions. Girls, up at the front. Guys,
10:47right here. On your mark. Get set. Go. Going for the first one. Girls, making the first move.
10:57Looks like the blue team got their first mohawk word. Let's see what that one is. It's a good
11:04word. Red team still not being able to get a word. There's the red team. They got one now.
11:11They're going to stick it up top. Blue team, Elise has got some good moves, but Ben, he gets
11:17that verb. Ben sticks a verb in. Red team's got another one. And the red team puts in the
11:28second one. Blue team grab another one. They stick one in now. Red team only needs one.
11:34The blue team only needs one. That's it. We're out of time. We're out of time. The red team,
11:40Andy, that's getting it. Red team is our winner. Nice job, Logan. Give me somebody. Way to go, pal.
11:46We're going to get Elise all unbuckled there from her back ball. You hang out right here. We're
11:51going to read your words. Let's see what you got. First up, your noun. You got grandma,
11:55grandma, and you got Urkel, and you got spork, and punch. Punch. Now, we're going to take those
12:02words, put them in the Mad Lib. Come on over here, guys. Let's see how this works.
12:08This Mad Lib's called Mount Rushmore, and we're going to stick your words in. Let's see
12:12what happens. The head of president, grandma, can be found at Mount Urkel. Four heads were carved
12:19into the mountain with a spork, and now people come from miles away to punch it. Ow, that would
12:25hurt. Yeah. Punch it in. And with a spork, that's pretty big digging. You guys, nice job. You got
12:30the Mad Lib. Those are your words, and you get the 20 points, which means the red team takes the lead.
12:35All right, green team, come on over here. We're going to find ourselves a winner as we go over
12:39to mixed up Mad Libs. Come on, guys.
12:41All right. That was a great game. A bunch of bobbing and weaving and dodging and ducking,
12:52but now we're going to settle down a little bit and use our minds. Let's take a look at the
12:56scoreboard, see what happened as a result of all that bobbing and weaving. 45 points for the blue
13:01team. Red team takes the lead with 50 points. All right. Man, that's a close, close game.
13:07And there could be a lot of lead changes here because it's mixed up Mad Lib. A mixed up Mad Lib
13:12is a sentence that already has a crazy word inserted, and it's up to you guys to buzz in,
13:17give me the correct word. Each one is worth 10 points. Blue team, 10 points. Just one right answer,
13:23and you guys take the lead and have a chance of going on to the maximum Mad Lib. But we're going
13:28to be doing this for a minute and a half, one minute, 30 seconds of mayhem. Who knows what's
13:33going to happen? Players, let's get in positions. I got your mixed up Mad Libs right here. We're
13:38going to put one minute, 30 seconds up on the clock. Here we go. First mixed up Mad Lib.
13:44The 16th president of the United States was named I'm a Ham Sandwich.
13:50Abraham Lincoln. Abraham Lincoln. Oh, Susanna, don't you cry for me.
13:55I come from Alabama with a breakdance on my knee. Too late. After the buzzer, it was banjo. Banjo.
14:04The first airplane flight was made by the brothers Orville and Wilbur Kite.
14:08Right. Elise. Right. Right is correct. Pete Sampras,
14:12Steffi Graf, and Monica Sellis are all great toaster players. Logan.
14:16Great tennis players. Yes. The mineral and milk that builds strong bones is catnip.
14:20Calcium. Elise. Yes. Correct. The study of planets, stars, and galaxies is known as alimony.
14:28Ben. Astronomy. Yes. If a DJ is a disc jockey, then a DJ is a double jalopy.
14:36Video jockey. Video jockey. Because of its color, an all-white Bengal tiger is referred to as Alfredo.
14:42Albino. The percussion instrument that starts with X is called a zebra phone.
14:51Frankie. Xylophone. Yes. Jennifer Lopez starred as the Latino singing sensation Salami.
14:57Selena. Yes. Singer-songwriter Kenny Edmonds goes by the nickname of Baby Fungus.
15:06Baby face. Baby face. Aim for the putting greens and avoid the sand traps if you're out on the granola course.
15:12Logan. Green. Incorrect. Go. Oh, no. He didn't make it in by the buzzer. That means it's 75 for the blue team, 80 for the red team.
15:21They won it. We ran out of time. Red team, they are the champions. Oh, man. That was so close.
15:29Blue team, man. You were just one second away from pulling it out. Great game, blue team.
15:35But you know what? Everyone here is a winner. You're each going to go home with one for a year.
15:38The ultimate online service for kids. Disney's Blast Online.
15:42And you've got to get your world's greatest word game Mad Libs book.
15:45Give it up for the blue team. They played great. They were right there.
15:48Man. Whew. Red team, you guys pulled it off by just that much. Great job, red team. You guys ready to go to the max?
15:56Yeah. Come on. Let's go. They're pumped up. Let's go.
15:59All right. Hang out right here, Elise. All right. We're going to find out which one of you guys is going to be going to the maximum Mad Libs to give the clues.
16:10Who wants to give the clues? It's very important. Logan. All right, dude. Listen up. Right here, I have the secret five words.
16:16Now, it's up to you. You can put these words in any of the five clue areas you want.
16:21That's going to help determine if you guys win the grand prize at the max. Are you up to it?
16:25Yeah. Ready to go? Yeah.
16:26All right. You go get started. Put your thinking cap on. Elise, you stand right here. You just got to wait it out while he figures out what's going on.
16:33And you guys, come on back and check us out as they go for the grand prize at the maximum Mad Libs.
16:38Stay tuned. Mad Libs will be right back right here on Disney.
17:05Hey, welcome back to Mad Libs. All right. Guess what? It's time to build our maximum Mad Lib of the day.
17:17During the break, Logan very smartly set all his words in the different clue areas, and now they're ready to play.
17:24Here's how the max works. First up, we got five blanks that the red team has to fill.
17:29Logan's going to give the words down to Elise, who's hanging out down there.
17:34Those clues will help to complete the maximum Mad Lib by getting all five words.
17:38Here's the clue areas. You start with stuff it.
17:41You grab four marshmallows, stuff them in your mouth, and try and yell the word down to your partner.
17:46Over here, this is spell it.
17:49But you got to spell it with ketchup and mustard on this glass right here.
17:52This is draw it. You stick your fingers in the goop.
17:56Draw with the finger paints right here something that looks kind of like the word.
18:01Act it using just your acting skills.
18:02You have to act out the word and pantomime, and then you come to sing it where you have to sing a description of the word.
18:10Yeah, kind of like that.
18:12All right. Now, Elise, each time you get a word right, we're going to stick it into the maximum Mad Lib wall.
18:18Come on over here. Now, your goal, your job, your team wants to get as many words as you can.
18:24Why? Well, because the more words you get, the better chance you have to win, right?
18:28The grand prize is beneath just one of those words, so the more you get, the better your odds.
18:33Are you ready to go, Logan?
18:34Yeah.
18:35Are you ready to go, Elise?
18:36Yes.
18:36All right. We're going to put one minute, 30 seconds up on the clock.
18:38The red team is pumped and psyched.
18:40On your mark, get set, go.
18:43Looks like he's starting its stuff-it category. There is a hot cooking surface.
18:51Hot cooking surface.
18:53Hot oven. Microwave.
19:00Oven thing.
19:03Pass.
19:05We're going to pass. That's a good idea.
19:10Logan just doesn't have a big enough mouth.
19:12I thought he was a big enough, but I guess not.
19:15V, W, waltz.
19:18You got it. Waltz.
19:20Right on. Moving on.
19:22Droid.
19:22Category there is a food you get at a fair.
19:26A fair pot. Cotton candy.
19:27Yes. Nice job.
19:29Going on to act it.
19:30Category there, something fake.
19:32Okay.
19:34You're brushing your teeth.
19:35Something fake.
19:36Something fake.
19:37You're pretending to eat something.
19:40Something.
19:41You're ripping out your teeth.
19:43That's it. Be more specific.
19:44I'm taking out your teeth.
19:45Getting your teeth pulled. You're the dentist.
19:47More specific.
19:48You're the dentist. Getting braces on.
19:50Something fake.
19:53Teeth. That's what you do with teeth.
19:55You want to pass it?
19:56Yeah.
19:56Pass it. Let's go to sing it.
19:58We'll go to sing it. Category there.
19:59Women wear this.
20:01It's makeup and it's red.
20:03Okay. Rouge.
20:05Blush.
20:05No.
20:06And you liked it.
20:06Blipstick.
20:07Yes. Good job.
20:08All right.
20:09We got to look at it.
20:10It's back to acting or stuffing.
20:11Let's go to acting.
20:12Act it. Act it.
20:13Okay. Stop it.
20:14Fine.
20:14Okay. Stop it out of time.
20:15Out of time.
20:16Three out of five.
20:17You never know.
20:18Logan, come on down here.
20:19You never know.
20:20Come over here, Elise.
20:22Logan, come down here, dude.
20:26Nice job.
20:26Nice job.
20:27Three out of five.
20:28You never know what can happen.
20:29I'll tell you what.
20:29What we're going to do right now is we're going to take a look at the words you got.
20:32Then we're going to take a look at a couple of clues that you didn't get.
20:35And then we're going to put them in the Mad Lib.
20:36But first, let's look at the words.
20:38Here they are.
20:41Okay.
20:42Something fake.
20:43Elise, we were looking for the something fake.
20:45You take the teeth out.
20:46You put them in the jar.
20:48Fake teeth.
20:48Fake teeth.
20:49Grandma and Grandpa wear them.
20:51Do you know what they're called?
20:52Dentures.
20:52I didn't even know that.
20:53Dentures is what we were looking for.
20:55Okay.
20:55Hot cooking surface.
20:57Logan, dude.
20:58Oh, yeah.
20:59You had a hard time getting that.
21:02It was waffle iron.
21:03Waffle iron.
21:04That's like I said, Logan.
21:04That's okay.
21:05It just means you don't have a big mouth.
21:07You got waffle iron.
21:08Lipstick, cotton candy, and waltz.
21:09You guys ripped those out.
21:11Nice job.
21:11Three out of five.
21:12You guys still got a better than half chance to win the grand prize.
21:15So I'll tell you what.
21:16We're going to take those words, put them in the Mad Lib.
21:18Let's see the Mad Lib.
21:21It's called WWW.
21:24All right.
21:24Let's see what this one is.
21:25Welcome to WWW.
21:27See the wrestlers grab each other by the dentures and throw each other down on the waffle iron.
21:34Hulk Hogan will use his famous lipstick hold on Randy the Cotton Candy.
21:39Let's get ready to waltz.
21:44All right.
21:45Where do you want to start?
21:47Top or bottom?
21:48Lipstick or waltz?
21:49Or you want to start in the middle?
21:50Take your choice.
21:51Three out of five.
21:52Pick one.
21:52I think cotton candy.
21:53Let's check cotton candy.
21:55All right.
21:55Is the grand prize under cotton candy?
21:58That's it.
21:59You got it.
22:00You got it.
22:02Congratulations, Red Team.
22:03You guys have each won a brand new stereo.
22:06Turn up the volume as you jam to your favorite bands on your new stereo.
22:10Way to go.
22:11All right, Red Team.
22:12Congratulations to you.
22:14We had a great time.
22:15Did you have a good time?
22:16Then come on back and join us next time on Mad Libs.
22:19See ya.
