Ukraine has launched serial production of the new multi-purpose drone Batyar, developed by DeepStrikeTech, marking another step forward in the country’s electronic warfare and long-range strike capabilities.
Initially designed as a kamikaze drone launched from catapults or vehicles, the Batyar has since evolved into a versatile system. It can now also serve as a decoy target to confuse enemy air defenses, as well as a platform for dropping munitions.
Equipped with a gasoline engine, the Batyar can fly an impressive 800 km and carry a warhead of 18 kg, making it suitable for striking deep strategic targets, including military positions in occupied regions such as Crimea.
