00:00So you've been with GMA for 11 years, right?

00:10That's crazy!

00:11Yes, so how's your career so far with GMA?

00:16What makes GMA your home network?

00:20GMA has a very big heart.

00:24That's the main reason why I stick with them.

00:27I grew up here. I started when I was 15. I'm 26 now, turning 27.

00:33So I can really say that I became an adult, I matured, I found myself here in this network.

00:40The reason why I continue to stay with them is that they're my family.

00:45They knew me ever since I was a teenager.

00:49They stuck through me through the ups and the downs.

00:55And I just really can't envision myself to be with any other management than GMA.

01:03Right. And now with a few more years with them, what excites you?

01:09And what do you want to explore with GMA?

01:14You know what excites me the most are the collaborations.

01:17Yeah.

01:18I'm so grateful that GMA opened their doors to collaborate with streaming platforms, with ABS-CBN and a lot more.

01:28That makes me so excited to be in the first row to get a glimpse of all the projects lined up for the collaborations.

01:38And it's not just a win for the artists.

01:40It's a win for everybody.

01:42More work, more opportunities, more content to consume by the audience.

01:48So everyone's a winner.

01:50So that's what I'm really expecting.

01:5211 years in, what do you think is the highlight of your career?

01:57Highlight?

01:58What projects do you think will cement you as an actress?

02:05It cemented me, definitely that's a granddaddyo.

02:08No questions.

02:09It really cemented me.

02:10It opened so many doors for me.

02:12But I also would like to give credit to the first collaboration and break my heart.

02:19It also gave me so much opportunities.

02:21Right.

02:22And also so much opportunities for the whole collaboration part of GMA and ABS.

02:28Do you remember yung mga first few projects mo sa career mo?

02:34And ano ba yung pinaka-goal mo nung una kung bakit ka pumasok?

02:38Is it the same goal na nai-envision mo sa sarili mo personally?

02:45You know, when I entered show business, I had zero idea.

02:49Yeah.

02:50I'm not a nephew baby.

02:51Yes.

02:52No one from my family is part of this industry.

02:55So I came in with no expectations.

02:59Right.

03:00My dream, no una talaga, I just really wanted to establish myself.

03:07Okay.

03:08And now that I'm here, looking back, grabe, napaka dami na nangyayari siya buong ko.

03:15And now that I'm here in the long run, I want to stay here.

03:22And the real goal is to sustain my career.

03:25I'm in it for the longevity.

03:27Right.

03:28I'm not just here to be an artista, but an artista with a purpose.

03:33Wow.

03:34Um, it's easy to be, to be there, you know, to trend, for people to clamor, but the real challenge

03:42is to stay, to stay relevant, to constantly reinvent yourself, and to sustain your career.

03:51And that's what I'm here for.

03:53Ano yung mga natitunan mo, um, so far sa career mo, na until now, o pinahawakan mo?

04:00Sigur is, it's above everything else.

04:05You have to prioritize your values.

04:08Magami magagaling.

04:10Yes.

04:11Pero hindi lahat na magagaling may pure heart.

04:13Um, sigur yun.

04:16It's just really good attitude above everything else.

04:18Good work ethics above everything.

04:20Right.

04:21How do you handle, or how do you manage your time, and also make time with Kalia, with all

04:27your other passions, and traveling, and all that?

04:31Um, I stay intentional in everything that I do.

04:35So, um, intentional also in planning my time, in scheduling everything.

04:42Um, I believe that you'll be the best version of yourself if you're a well-balanced person.

04:48Yes.

04:49So, it's okay to focus on work, but do not ever forget that you need time for yourself, and for your loved ones, and for your other things to do.

04:56Kasi, I don't wanna reach a point na maho-burn out ako.

04:59Right.

05:00That's why I also do this thing, to do these things, para balansen ang lahat.

05:05And also, speaking of Kalia, um, ano yung, um, secret nyo siguro to lasting relationship?

05:12Kasi yun ang dahil nagsasabi, goals talaga kayo eh.

05:16Um, secret, be the best of friends.

05:21Um, I get it that you want to be always romantic, di ba?

05:26You know, but don't forget to have fun.

05:28Mm-hmm.

05:29You have to have fun, and to listen to your partner.

05:32Mm-hmm.

05:33Communication is important, but listening to your partner is awesome.

05:37Mm-hmm.

05:38And, ano yung, siguro yung difference of having a boyfriend na same, within the same industry as you?

05:45Pano, siguro yung, um, pagdodrive nyo together?

05:50Siguro, it's the understanding part.

05:52Mm-hmm.

05:53We understand each other.

05:54Yeah.

05:55Siyempre, tres, kumunang linya.

05:57But then, it's really not the basis of what a good relationship is.

06:01It's really the values at the end of the day.

06:03Yes.

06:04And your choice to make it work.

06:06Ah, mayroong ka bang, um, realizations or something that Malil has taught you na, you never realize na,

06:13may kailangan ko tala siyang malinid.

06:15Oo naman.

06:16Ah, madami.

06:17Pero on top of my head, I feel like it's more on, not controlling the things that I can control.

06:26You will always tell me that.

06:27Wow.

06:28Ano kasi ako ay very hands-on litiguloso.

06:30Mm-hmm.

06:31I have a tendency to, like, in trying to be on top of everything.

06:36He reminds me to stay grounded and to just let go of the things that I can control.

06:41Right.

06:42And also, um, speaking of exploring, ano, parang nakita ko sa isang clip na, I think sa Netflix yun eh.

06:50You wanted to have a GL series.

06:52Oh my god.

06:53And nag-ano siya, nag-trend.

06:54Nag-trend.

06:55Nag-trend kasi siya.

06:56It's so sweet.

06:57That's it.

06:58And how did that idea started ba?

07:01Um, it's just really more on, I haven't done that role.

07:04Okay.

07:05Um, and I'm an ally.

07:08Yeah.

07:09And I wanna do something that I haven't done.

07:11Yeah.

07:12So, yeah.

07:13Any idea na maybe partner in mind na gusto mong baka?

07:18I can't name you, but like, I'm open to anything.

07:21Mm-hmm.

07:22As long as the script is good.

07:23Mm-hmm, mm-hmm.

07:28What advice can you give to little girls or aspiring actresses who wanted to be like you in the future?

07:38Um, remember that things aren't instant.

07:42You have to record for it, be determined, and never forget to be a good person.
