00:00Now, for a period of time, we've seen some of the non-sports wagering operators like Underdog and PrizePix take a little bit of a step back in terms of advertising just to kind of see how the landscape would play out.
00:12But, I mean, I don't know. I mean, it does feel like the success of the prediction markets and their ability to stay around has sort of gotten some of these other companies, and in this case, PrizePix, to sort of step up their efforts to say, hey, look, if they're not going anywhere, we're not going anywhere.
00:27And they've partnered up with the Houston Astros, Sam.
00:32Yeah, you're 100% right about that timing, Craig.
00:35You know, before 2025, we saw companies like PrizePix and Underdog pull back some of their advertising that they had just done at a really high level, almost similar to what we saw when sports betting first became legal in a lot of states because it had success in markets like California, markets like Texas, which we'll talk about in a sec, where sports betting isn't legal,
00:54but these player prop style pick'em games where you select more or less on a player, very similar to an over-under, were popular.
01:02But then once prediction markets came out, it kind of took the spotlight away from the focus on fantasy sports companies like PrizePix, companies like Underdog.
01:11And now PrizePix, interestingly enough, has signed a deal with its third MLB team in the past month.
01:18It's now partnered with the Houston Astros and just did a deal with the Giants and did a deal with the Padres earlier.
01:24But it's pretty interesting to see, like, a company that not too long ago we were talking about, is this legal?
01:30Are state's going to say it's legal?
01:32Are league's going to come out and say, you know, we're only going to partner with sportsbooks?
01:35Now you have a third MLB team signed with PrizePix.
01:39The partnership is going to include signage around the stadium, in-stadium promos and activations.
01:45Really interesting, too, a segment on Astros radio before the game, essentially, you know, advertising the product, asking questions like, you know,
01:53will this pitcher go over or under six-and-a-half strikeouts today, getting people more involved in marketing the product?
02:00And again, Texas is a state without legal sports betting.
02:02We're probably not going to have sports betting legalized in Texas for a very long time, so PrizePix expanding their presence there.
