00:00Kair Elam cannot say enough nice things about this new culture that Brian Schottenheim was
00:20established. He said, I feel like the energy here is something I've never been part of.
00:23I love the enthusiasm and also I would just say the energy from the coaching staff,
00:28they actually make you feel like they care and that's something that's very exciting.
00:33And that's something that when you look at he also said all aspects of the game,
00:36just playing the game before the game is even played has been a lot of their focus,
00:39being able to eliminate routes and also expect what's coming so you don't have to play with your full athleticism.
00:44You can play with your mind first. So he's picking up a lot already from the staff.
00:48He feels like in terms of approach technique, different things like that.
00:51But the big headline to him is just so far, this is a different culture than one I've been part of.
00:56Now, does that equal victories? Maybe not. But Brian Schottenheimer's banking on it's going to make a difference.
01:01And then C.D. Lamb was talking about just how hurt he was at the end of last season and how much he's spending to repair the body.
01:07Yeah, this is this is distressing to me. So was it the he got hurt in the Atlanta game, too, wasn't it?
01:12Wasn't that the same game that Dak got hurt? I think he got hurt at the Atlanta game.
01:16But you remember we were watching that game, whichever one it was where he'd hurt his shoulder.
01:19And we're just sitting there going, like, why is he still out there?
01:22It seems like every time he lands on the ground, it's taken five minutes to get up.
01:25Yeah. So he had spoken to the media the other day.
01:28And Skylar Dixon had transcribed this answer that he gave talking about his AC joint recovery.
01:34He said it was the longest rehab. I want to say a good five months of real recovery and rehab.
01:40I don't know. I'm grateful to have two arms. I can tell you that.
01:43And it made me go back to thinking about just, man, if he if that looked at the time because the Cowboys trying to say,
01:50nope, he wasn't at any risk of making it any worse, which maybe he wasn't.
01:53Maybe it was just that bad. But if it's so bad that he's talking about the most intense, painful,
01:58like uncomfortable five months of recovery, there's no chance.
02:01Even if he could have hurt him, even if he couldn't have hurt himself more,
02:04there's no chance he should have been out there for any more snaps.
