00:00Well, let's start with the Cowboys offense, were you expecting more out of the bye week

00:05and what's wrong with it, how does it get fixed?

00:09Well I don't research Cowboys stuff or game stuff, I just research trivia stuff for you

00:14guys.

00:15Alright.

00:16You know what's funny, it all starts up front, and we've heard that said over and over right

00:21through the years of football, but the offensive line, they can't run the football, in part

00:29they don't have great running backs, we know that, but they can't run, they can't pass

00:32protect.

00:33So if you can't run it, now play action is no longer really a threat, San Francisco was

00:40not concerned about play action because they knew they could bottle up the run.

00:44Now if you can't pass protect, which they're having a difficult time with, both tackles,

00:49now we gotta keep Ferguson in to chip on his way out, now that affects all the routes running

00:55and behind him, so you get your tight end out in the pass pattern, he's gonna pull coverage

00:59and all of a sudden you get holes opening up behind it for in routes and hook routes

01:05and all those other things.

01:06Well if you're keeping your tight end in, those backers are dropping in zone, they're

01:09just dropping to their area with not having to worry about you, so it just all dovetails.

01:15And I'll be honest, I feel sorry for Mike McCarthy, are we allowed to, Bobby are we

01:20allowed to?

01:21Sure, yeah, we can.

01:24I mean you can't, so I don't want to see him run the ball in first and ten any more

01:28than anyone else does.

01:30Now we're second and nine, second and eight, what are you gonna do now?

01:33It's like, well why did they even bother with that?

01:36But you can't pass protect, so you can't, if you drop Dak back 50 times, I mean, number

01:43one it's gonna be an L, number two he probably won't make it out of the game alive.

01:47So it really is a tough deal because you've got to have some semblance of a running game

01:55and they really just don't.

01:56I mean it's so funny, we're what, seven games into it and everyone wants to point to the

02:01second half of the Pittsburgh game as the only really half of a football game out of

02:08play and I guess 14 halves where you say, oh we ran the ball pretty good against Pittsburgh

02:12in that second half, so it's a real dilemma.

02:16The only thing you can hope for, and because I know you're gonna, you know, we all think

02:19okay well it's not gonna change, you know, Cooper Beebe is gonna get better and he's

02:24played relatively decently, you gotta hope Steele returns to the form that he had a couple

02:29years ago and you gotta hope Tyler Guyton, that left tackle, just gets better by the

02:34week with experience, but you know that's just where they are offensively.
