Babe Laufenberg on what could happen if curtains were drawn over the stadium

Dallas Cowboys color analyst Babe Laufenberg gives his opinion on how bad the sun is in the stadium. He explains  that if there were curtains that there could be a lot more big plays being made which could potentially give Rush more confidence.

00:28Well, it's interesting because it, yeah, how many, how many games have been played

00:32How many plays in those games and then start multiplying.

00:36And there's been about four or five plays have been affected, but don't they all seem

00:40huge?

00:41Yeah.

00:43I mean, that, that play Sunday.

00:44Now you may say, Hey, it's one play.

00:46We had a lot of other plays, but I mean, it's probably going to be a touchdown.

00:51Yeah.

00:52Cowboys take the lead.

00:53Yeah.

00:54Does it change Cooper Rush's confidence?

00:55Does it change the crowd and the way they're reacting?

00:58You got a lead on Philly.

00:59I mean, a lot could change, but, and then interestingly enough, the next play on third

01:04down, they handed off to Rico Dowdell inside on fourth and three or third and three, I

01:09guess.

01:10I mean, did that affect that play call to say, you know, I don't want to take a chance.

01:13Our guy's not been able to see the football, but the funny thing about it is, yeah.

01:17And there's, you know, it's a lot of plays to, to, did that cost them a game?

01:21Hey, they've been behind by 20 points in their last five games at home.

01:26At some point in the game.

01:28That's an NFL record, by the way.

01:29So the notion that that one play is during the season, no, but here's the funny thing.

01:34You can't go back and re-sign Derrick Henry, right?

01:36We can't, that's not going to happen.

01:38So we, you can lament all you want, Oh, we could have had this guy.

01:42You would please everyone, everyone.

01:45If you just said, you know what, we're going to start putting curtains up.

01:48Nobody would say, Oh, what are you doing now?

01:50They would say, why is it happening so late, but it'd be universally applauded.

01:56So why not just say, yeah, we're going to put up the curtains, but you know, what are
