00:00The problem with the NFL is nobody can stop the Eagles' tush-bush,
00:04and I thought that the vote on it was ridiculous and laughable,
00:08that all the little boys club had to get together to try to get rid of
00:11something that they can't stop.
00:13The reason it's a problem for them is they can't stop the play.
00:16It's a great play.
00:17Yeah, and there's one coach.
00:19Yeah, Scott, it's called competitive jealousy is what you're talking about.
00:23That's what a coach from another team said, who, quite frankly,
00:26he has no problem, this guy said.
00:28And, by the way, his team goes against the Eagles this season,
00:31and he's an offensive coach.
00:32He said, look, and it's not just the Eagles.
00:35It's the Bills, by the way.
00:36They're really good at it with Josh Allen.
00:37So this coach told me yesterday because we were texting about it,
00:40he actually thinks that more teams will do it.
00:42It's primarily the Eagles and the Bills and a smattering of other teams,
00:46but he thinks the percentage will go up.
00:48By the way, the Eagles, over the past three seasons, 23 through 24,
00:53the Eagles are with that tush-bush play, which is generally fourth
00:56and less, two yards or less, or third down, or any short yardage play.
01:02They're 87% success rate over the past three seasons.
01:06What I find interesting about the Bills is they ran it a lot,
01:09but yet they voted against it.
01:11They wanted it out, which I find fascinating.
01:13Sean McDermott, a former Eagles defensive coordinator, by the way,
01:16who grew up in Philly.
01:17But the bottom line is it's going to stay for this season.
01:19And this coach told me.
01:20He thinks more teams are going to do it because they see the Eagles' success.
01:22They know now that it's going to be in this season.
01:26And this guy had me thinking that when I go to training camps for my tour
01:29over the summer, I'm going to be looking for this.
01:31I'll probably see 15 or 16 teams.
01:34I wonder how many more teams are going to run it.
01:36Why would they try to get rid of it again next year?
01:41Well, it's, again, you've got 22 teams that try to get it out of there, right?
01:46So, you know, it's close to being voted out.
01:50Now, the question is, if any other teams run it and they're successful.
01:56And, by the way, as this coach told me, it doesn't preclude a team.
02:00Like, if you voted against it, but you think it could work,
02:02you could still do it just as the Bills did.
02:05The Bills are still going to do it because Josh Allen's great at it.
02:07By the way, you've got to have a quarterback if you're going to do it.
02:09That's strong.
02:11And he has some athleticism.
02:12Like, you're not going to see Matthew Stafford run it.
02:14That's not going to work.
02:15It's got to be a quarterback who can move.
02:17Yeah, I wanted to say that in Pittsburgh, we prefer weak quarterbacks and small hands.
