The Armed Forces of Ukraine have formed their first motorcycle-mounted assault company within the 425th Skala Assault Regiment.
This unit trains in large-scale motorcycle maneuver tactics, each bike carrying two fighters armed with AKS-74U rifles, allowing for effective shooting while moving.
Exercises include operations under smoke cover—possibly deployed by drones—and aim to quickly capture enemy positions while minimizing enemy reaction time. The motorcycles also serve specific roles, such as transporting electronic equipment, evacuating the wounded, and carrying ammunition.
