00:00Welcome back to The Watchlist, I'm Lindsay Melchuk. Today we're taking a closer look at

00:10DigiPowerX Inc, a company driving growth in digital infrastructure and clean energy. With

00:16us is Michelle Ammar, CEO of DigiPowerX, right here to break down a standout Q1,

00:22marked by a 65% revenue jump and no long-term debt. Michelle, welcome. This is an impressive

00:29Q1. Nice meeting you. Yes, actually it was pretty good considering that last year we had

00:39the Bitcoin halving, so revenues got cut in half and still we managed to grow. So we are

00:47pretty happy with the growth, the fact that we have no debts, but we ended the quarter

00:55with 10 million dollars in cash, and that we had a positive EBITDA. So that allows us

01:05to run, you know, comfortably and plan our growth in both power infrastructure, energy

01:15and AI data center. Well, that's all fantastic news right there. Now, a 65% revenue growth

01:21is big, but how sustainable is that pace and what's fueling it beyond crypto mining?

01:27You know, we own a combined cycle gas power plant. And therefore, we have a license to sell

01:39energy. And we've been developing our side of our business dramatically. And in addition,

01:49we are developing, you know, an incredible pilot program with SMCI Supermicro, which is, you

01:59know, one of the leaders in AI servers. We're developing a bespoke AI ready modular solution

02:10system, but we're going to implement Q4 this year.

02:15Well, I can't wait to hear more about that one. You're also scaling data center operations

02:22and still debt free. So how long can you keep that balance without diluting shareholders?

02:27It's a good question. The difference between AI data processing versus Bitcoin mining is that

02:37we have predictable income. So we have a pro forma and a five year contract. Therefore, we

02:44can, in order to scale up, get some debt financing as we have, you know, a forecast that we can rely

02:54on, which is much different than the Bitcoin mining where you don't know where Bitcoin is going to go.

02:58So it's dangerous to have debt financing in Bitcoin mining growth, correct? So our AI data center

03:08growth will be fueled with customer contracts.

03:13Okay. Well, you know, the crypto space is definitely one to watch. And you know what,
