00:46The Filipino Olympic equestrian champion Michaela Kujonka Jaworski replaces the Zimbabwean as head of the IOC's Coordination Commission.

00:55Coventry made her Olympic competition debut at the Sydney 2000 Games and his family living in Australia.

01:01My journey started in Sydney in 2000 and I'm very excited about what Brisbane 2032 is going to do,

01:09not just for the region but for Australia and for the world.

01:14Coventry is the first female, first African and youngest person to head the Olympic body.

01:21She takes over as International Olympic Committee president next month.
