Magnitude 6.1 earthquake this morning in Santorini

00:00I am here in Imerovigli, in Santorini, where this morning, on the 6.20pm, we have noticed a powerful

00:07earthquake. In fact, in the hotel where we are, everything has moved. It has come with a lot of

00:12noise. And well, television, the lamps and the buildings, practically, they have moved a little bit.

00:19I came to the terrace and here in the courtyard, as you can see, there were almost

00:25derrumbes in all parts. Incluso in the kitchen I have seen that in some places it has moved a lot of water and

00:30in some places it has desborded. This event, in principle, no has nothing to do with the

00:36sequence that we had a few months ago. It was located in the north of Santorini.

00:40Hace a week, we had a very similar earthquake, and also in the epicentro, very similar.

00:48In the area of destruction, these places that we have here, that we remember that it is a

00:53tectónicamente complex area with a high risk of sísmical and volcanic, and well,

00:58at the moment, until now, the situation is of normal. There have been some replicas, but

01:02at the moment, there has been another intense earthquake.
