ओडिशा के पुरी में भगवान जगन्नाथ की आगामी रथ यात्रा की तैयारियों को लेकर अहम बैठक हुई. चर्चा में आगामी रथ यात्रा की तैयारियों को खास तवज्जो दी गई. उत्सव को भव्य और सुचारू बनाने के लिए कई योजनाएं बनाई गई. छत्तीस निजोग, जगन्नाथ मंदिर में सेवा करने वाले सभी सेवकों का संघ है. बैठक में सभी अनुष्ठानों को मंजूरी दी गई. ओडिशा में भगवान जगन्नाथ के मंदिर में रथ यात्रा सबसे प्रतिष्ठित हिंदू त्योहारों में से एक है. पुरी में इसे बड़ी श्रद्धा के साथ मनाया जाता है. ये भगवान जगन्नाथ उनके भाई-बहन बलभद्र और सुभद्रा के साथ मुख्य मंदिर से गुंडिचा मंदिर तक की औपचारिक रथ यात्रा का प्रतीक है. पुरी में हर साल आयोजित होने वाली भगवान जगन्नाथ की भव्य रथ यात्रा इस साल 27 जून को शुरू होगी.
