00:00These are my axolotls.

00:02Wow.

00:03And today, we're going to build a hyper-realistic Minecraft world.

00:06It will be home to strange and curious creatures,

00:09have insane level of detail,

00:11span multiple biomes,

00:13and so much more.

00:15But will our Minecraft world flourish,

00:17or will it be a complete failure?

00:20Miso and Mata are finally big enough to live together.

00:23But this tank is way too small,

00:25and they're growing every day.

00:27In Minecraft, axolotls are always hanging out and having fun.

00:31And you all love axolotls.

00:34Okay.

00:37So today, we need to make something big enough for Miso and Matcha.

00:41Ooh, nice cropping table.

00:50Wow, what the heck?

00:52Give me that.

00:54I need you to do research on real life mobs.

00:57See ya.

01:01Not again.

01:04These are galaxy resboras.

01:06And they're my favorite fish,

01:08because they kind of look like stars.

01:10These are the closest fish to salmon mobs in the game.

01:13And they will help jumpstart our lush cave for our axolotls.

01:16But when I was feeding them, I saw something.

01:19Whoa, what is that?

01:20That is a weird looking bug.

01:22It kind of looks like an alien.

01:24Turns out, this is a dragonfly nymph.

01:27And good thing we caught him,

01:28because he could have latched onto our axolotls.

01:31Eventually, he's going to turn into a real dragonfly.

01:34I wonder what color he's going to be.

01:36Meanwhile, Adam was embarking on his quest.

01:39Jamie sent me to the middle of the wilderness.

01:42And my mission is to catch real life Minecraft mobs.

01:46This running creek is the perfect place to find crayfish mobs.

01:51But at first, I couldn't find anything.

01:54Thankfully, I have a backpack full of supplies.

01:58Including some delicious bait.

02:00I really hope this works.

02:03Back at the studio, our jungle biome is really coming to life.

02:07And after adding some greenery,

02:09we're ready to add our first mob.

02:12Meet Ringo.

02:13He has a really long tail and super sharp claws.

02:16Which is actually a big problem.

02:19So I built a temporary enclosure,

02:21because Ringo is a great climber.

02:24If we just put him in here, he would jump straight out.

02:27But we can add these giant vespas.

02:30Did you know these guys can carry 50 times their body weight?

02:33They'll be perfect for keeping our pandas company.

02:36But when I checked the 3D printer...

02:39Oh no!

02:40Disaster struck.

02:43This is supposed to be an epic jungle temple.

02:46I was trying to print this, but it's just not working.

02:49This build is going to be really challenging.

02:52And I have a challenge for you.

02:55Can you spot these Minecraft mobs hidden somewhere in this video?

02:59Back in the wild, Adam was in route to check his trap,

03:02when he found something.

03:05Whoa!

03:06Check it out!

03:07It's a Garda snake.

03:08Luckily, not harmful to us.

03:11That was really cool.

03:13But as I got closer to the crayfish trap,

03:16I thought it had been swept away.

03:18But then...

03:19Oh, we got something!

03:21Unfortunately, these fish are too small to keep.

03:24So let's get them back in their natural habitat.

03:27How cool would it be if our Minecraft world had real lava?

03:32But at first, nothing happened.

03:35Ow!

03:36I'm not sure if I did this right.

03:38I thought there was going to be a huge explosion of lava.

03:41So I added even more.

03:48This is so cool.

03:50I haven't done this since I was a kid for a science experiment.

03:53This looks just like flowing lava.

03:55But we have a big problem.

03:57Ugh.

03:58I think this would be toxic to our animals.

04:00So instead, I'm creating a snowy mountain biome.

04:04It's freezing up here.

04:07Is that snow?

04:09This winter storm is out of control.

04:12Phew!

04:13Soon, our snow will melt and crude a river all the way down into our lush cave.

04:18Whoa!

04:19Look at that spider!

04:20That's a jumping spider.

04:21He's a great predator in our Minecraft world.

04:23Back in the wild, Adam was making good progress.

04:25This clearing is perfect for setting up our village.

04:28And there's heaps of resources around here.

04:31But as I was setting up, I heard something in the distance.

04:34I have to go check this out.

04:36It's the biggest river I've ever seen.

04:39In Minecraft, salmon and cod spawn in deep water, just like this.

04:42But then I started to panic.

04:44I'm in the wild.

04:45I'm in the wild.

04:54And then I started to panic.

04:55The con is really tremendous.

04:57At this point, I realized I was in trouble.

05:00Right on time, our jungle temple is complete.

05:03And Niso and Matcha are so close to having their dream home.

05:07But earlier, when I was playing Minecraft, I realized we missed a lot of key details from the game.

05:13Luckily, I have some bone meal fertilizer.

05:17Whoa!

05:18And I'm adding some cocoa beans and diamond ore in our secret cave.

05:23We may not have a Minecraft ocelot, but I have something better.

05:28Behold!

05:29Enderpaw!

05:30A rare mob who is always hungry.

05:35There you go, Nori.

05:36A real Minecraft lava chicken.

05:38Meanwhile, Adam was having his own problem.

05:41That is crazy.

05:44That was too close for comfort.

05:47I'm gonna stick to the land.

05:49I'm trying my luck with a new tool to catch a mob out here.

05:52This is a fishing fly.

05:54And apparently, it looks like the real thing to a fish.

05:58Good luck, you possibly.

05:59There's something on the line.

06:01Jamie better have a huge fish tank.

06:04You might be wondering why Niso and Matcha have never met.

06:07Well, a few months ago, my axolotls had babies.

06:10And we watched them grow from these tiny eggs into baby axolotls.

06:14But unfortunately, not all of them made it.

06:17Niso and Matcha are my miracle babies.

06:20The only problem is when axolotls are really small, they can bite off each other's arms.

06:25So now that they're big enough, they can finally meet.

06:28I just need to work overtime to make this happen.

06:31You're not gonna believe what I caught.

06:34A giant stick.

06:36I decided to move further up the river.

06:39Oh, I just swallowed a bug.

06:41At least I caught something.

06:43Then something caught my eye.

06:45We found rare ore.

06:47This special tool will help us collect it.

06:50It sifts through river silt and separates normal rocks from precious stones.

06:56This is really shiny, but I think it's just fool's gold.

06:59Every ecosystem needs a water source.

07:02So that's why I'm building a river.

07:04This should create a waterfall in Niso and Matcha's lush cave.

07:08Okay, let's test this out.

07:10Nice, it's working.

07:12This looks amazing.

07:14Oh no.

07:16This isn't a river, this is a flash flood.

07:19Oh!

07:20Oh my gosh!

07:23That was a complete disaster.

07:25We have to fix this.

07:27I finally made it back to camp, but I'm freezing.

07:31I'm really in survival mode now.

07:33Now hopefully, if a bear comes through here, I'm high enough up that I just get a little back scratch.

07:41In this climate, keeping dry is the key to survival.

07:45Cold and wet is a dangerous combo.

07:48If we learn anything from Minecraft, we need a fire out here.

07:52This will keep you warm and help with dinner.

07:55Let's eat and get into bed before the creepers and skeletons come out.

07:59I may not have caught anything today, but tomorrow is a new day.

08:06Our river is back up and running.

08:08I have some really exciting stuff for our final two biomes.

08:16But first, can you spot the new mob I picked out from the pet store?

08:21He is such a clumsy eater.

08:23Oh wait!

08:24There he goes!

08:25He got the fly!

08:26He's tall and thin, just like an Enderman.

08:29Which reminds me of my Ender Dragon in the studio.

08:32If you haven't met him already, meet Gizmo, my pet dragon.

08:36And last episode, we built him his dream home with an epic castle and heaps of live plants.

08:42But this isn't for you, buddy.

08:43This is for miso and matcha.

08:46I wonder how Adam's doing.

08:48This is incredible.

08:50I can hear the birds chirping.

08:52It's like living in Minecraft.

08:54But it's time to go home.

08:56And after packing up camp, I decided to make one last stop by the river.

09:01And that's when I saw a tiny school of fish.

09:05I had to try and catch a few.

09:12Oh, we got him!

09:14These are baby salmon.

09:16And soon, they'll make their way down this river and into the ocean.

09:21Good luck, guys!

09:23We did it.

09:25We caught real-life Minecraft mobs.

09:28Let's get back to the studio.

09:30Some of our plants are crispy and dry.

09:33This is not good through miso and matcha's ecosystem.

09:37So I started watering twice per day.

09:39But eventually, we'll need a better solution.

09:43This bio will be a buzzing village filled with friendly mobs.

09:48Check out the views you get of the mountain.

09:50This is so epic.

09:52And to my surprise, miso and matcha's water has begun showing signs of life.

09:57Did you know that these guys eat our fish's poop?

09:59This is how fish tanks stay healthy.

10:01Which means we're close to adding our axolotls.

10:05But first, we need to forage for our last biome.

10:08What is this?

10:12Looks like feta cheese.

10:14I don't know why, but I was expecting mushrooms to be right inside the box.

10:19I found this paint in the studio and it looks just like Minecraft.

10:23Jamie's Minecraft world looks cool, but it's missing something.

10:28So I'm going to surprise miso and matcha with a custom stand.

10:32I really hope there's electricity in Minecraft.

10:36This is a Venus flytrap.

10:39It has special leaves to catch insects.

10:42So when a bug triggers more than one of these tiny hairs...

10:45Oh wow, the bug escaped!

10:48This is going to be perfect for our mushroom biome.

10:52And just in time, our mushrooms are ready.

10:55Just kidding, they didn't grow.

10:57So I 3D printed some huge Minecraft mushrooms instead.

11:01And these cute mushrooms from the game.

11:04This looks like a magical fairy garden.

11:08The inside of our world looks epic.

11:10And check this out.

11:12Adam's finished with his secret project.

11:15This looks amazing.

11:16Miso and Matcha are going to love this.

11:18I almost forgot about our lava balls.

11:21Now this looks more like real Minecraft.

11:24And I even programmed real rain to keep our plants hydrated and happy.

11:29Hopefully our hungry mobs find these secret snacks.
