00:03My name is Layla and today I'm going to be giving you guys the Summer 2025 Beauty Survival Kit.
00:11Today I'm going to go over everything beauty-wise that I think you guys are going to need over the summer.
00:17Summer is fast approaching, school's almost over for me.
00:20I'm so excited for summer and I can't wait to help the girlies out.
00:24So without further ado, let's get started.
00:30First, we're going to start off with skin care.
00:43First of all, you need to know what your skin type is.
00:45You know, there's oily, dry, combination, normal.
00:50If you don't know, you should probably discuss it with your dermatologist.
00:53However, I have normal to dry skin.
00:56Therefore, I like using products that are very hydrating.
01:00First things first, y'all already know I love Sky Soul.
01:03So the products that I use is the Sky Soul Face Serum and I also use their Day and Night Moisturizer and I combine the sunscreen together.
01:13I just started using these two months ago and when I tell you, my skin has never felt better.
01:18If you guys are looking for your stable skin care routine, I highly recommend.
01:21I love Glow Recipe, you guys.
01:24We have lots of products that are just so suited for summer.
01:27Here are some of my Glow Recipe skincare faves.
01:30First, if you're looking for a facial sunscreen, I have three options for you.
01:34We have the Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Niacinamide Sunscreen.
01:38First, we have one that's just SPF 30, which they literally just came out with.
01:42It's their hydrating fluid.
01:44Then we have the SPF 50.
01:46I love these both so much.
01:48I like using this one when I'm just looking for a tan, this one if I'm actually trying to get sun protected.
01:54And I also love using their Sunscreen Dew Balm.
01:56It's so nice.
01:57It makes your skin look super duper glowy and it also has SPF 45.
02:02I love using this for everyday skin care.
02:04Next, if you guys don't want to use any makeup this summer, but you still want to have that makeup look,
02:09I highly, highly, highly recommend their skincare blushes.
02:13These are my two favorite shades.
02:16It's Watermelon Flush and Berry Flush.
02:19These give that I'm not wearing blush, but I'm wearing blush look.
02:23Now, moving on to skin prep.
02:25I tell you guys over and over again, skin prep is very, very crucial to an amazing makeup routine.
02:31First, y'all have probably already heard of this one.
02:34This is the Watermelon Glow Recipe Dew Drops.
02:36However, this is the Rosy Glow version.
02:40I don't know why I love the Rosy Glow version more.
02:42I just do.
02:43I don't really know what to say.
02:44I don't know if there's a difference or whatever.
02:47But I think this just makes my skin more glowier than the normal drops.
02:51Also, I think this also gives me that flush effect that the flushes that they have do.
02:55Then, I have two things from Charlotte Silvery.
02:57First, I have their Magic Serum.
03:00So good for the girls that need hydration.
03:02And then, the Magic Cream.
03:04They sync together.
03:06They're so nice.
03:06Now, if you're not planning to go out that much this summer, but you still want that tan,
03:11I highly recommend the Milani Bronzing Drops.
03:14I believe they have three shades of this.
03:16And this works really well for my skin tone.
03:19Because whenever I use bronzing drops, I feel like they don't actually tan my skin.
03:23I feel like it just looks like...
03:24I feel like it just looks like my actual skin tone.
03:27But this shade of Milani Bronzing Drops actually makes it look like I'm darker.
03:31Next, we have the Snail Moves and Face Masks.
03:34Trust me, buy these.
03:37Just buy these.
03:38These are Korean face masks.
03:39And y'all probably already heard about Korean face masks.
03:42Super duper hydrating.
03:44I would probably use like one or two a week.
03:47Just get them.
03:48You'll thank me later.
03:52Moving on to makeup.
03:53Now, during summer, you guys are probably not going to wear that much makeup.
03:57Because you guys are going to get to the beach, at the pool.
04:00You're going to be tanning.
04:02So here's some makeup products that are really nice for summer that are lightweight and easy.
04:06First, I have the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter.
04:09Y'all already know that this is a skin tint.
04:11It's really nice.
04:13And it makes your skin super duper glowy.
04:15It acts as like a foundation.
04:16But it isn't a foundation.
04:18Trust me.
04:18And it feels so lightweight, you guys.
04:21Elf tried to dupe this.
04:23But not going to lie with you.
04:24The Elf one feels like foundation and not a skin tint.
04:28This actually feels like a skin tint.
04:29And it actually makes my face look more glowy.
04:32Next, for concealer.
04:33Me, personally, still during the summer, because I'm going to probably have a very off-sleep schedule,
04:38I'm going to still use a somewhat full-coverage concealer.
04:41But I still want it to feel lightweight.
04:43But this Armani's, I think that's how you pronounce it, soap concealer does it for me.
04:49It's so good.
04:50Full coverage.
04:50I'm wearing it right now.
04:52It feels so lightweight on the skin.
04:54And it blocks all of my under-eye bags.
04:56Now, for blush, I have a few options.
04:58First, I have the Milk Makeup Jelly Blush.
05:01Let me show y'all what it looks like.
05:02Y'all already know.
05:03This is the orange one.
05:05It's super duper cool.
05:07Like, hello?
05:08It looks like I could eat it, you guys.
05:09Like, I don't know.
05:10This product literally blends into your skin.
05:14Also, during the summer, I highly recommend orange blush.
05:17Trust me, you'll thank me later.
05:19Literally, I used to only wear pink blush, but orange is so much summer-coated.
05:24Next, I have these Milani Cream Blushes.
05:27I have this red shade and this burgundy shade.
05:30Both of these look like I have a sun-kissed burnt on my cheeks.
05:34I'm wearing the burgundy one right now.
05:36These generally do melt into your skin, and they feel so nice.
05:41They're silky smooth.
05:43They're super easy to blend.
05:44Again, these are also summer-coated.
05:47Lastly, if you just want a easy on-the-go blush, I highly recommend Infinite.
05:52You guys have probably heard about this as well.
05:54This can double as a cheek blush, and it can also double as a lipstick.
05:59Literally, you can just put this in your bag, and you can just apply, and it stays literally the entire day.
06:05Now, for powder, you still want to be powdered during the summer if you're wearing makeup.
06:10It just makes your makeup look more flawless.
06:12However, I suggest a pressed powder over a loose powder.
06:16Literally, just pat, pat, pat, and you're good to go.
06:18I love the Charlotte Silvery one.
06:20It's so nice.
06:22It mattes my face, but it doesn't matt my face enough to the point where it's literally not going to look glowy anymore.
06:28For bronzer, this one literally just came out.
06:31This is the Hula Wave Bronzer.
06:33But, this is a creamy version of the original Hula Powder Bronzer.
06:37And y'all already yelled at how it's teeth, okay?
06:40Oh my god, you can see my camera.
06:42But, if you still need that tan into the beginning of summer, I highly recommend this.
06:47Next, for brows.
06:48In my opinion, I prefer soap brows over drawn-on brows.
06:52And especially, I think during summer, soap brows are just it.
06:55I love using the Benefit 24-Hour Brow Setter.
06:58I'm wearing it right now.
07:00It gives that natural brow look.
07:02I bet that you guys want to be glowy this summer, okay?
07:06You want that glowy, dewy, clean girl aesthetic look.
07:09These liquid highlighters are going to do it for you.
07:12These are the Rare Beauty ones.
07:13I've heard mixed reviews about these, but they are so good.
07:17I'm literally wearing it on my nose and my cheeks.
07:20I'm very, very picky about my highlighters because some of them look very, very patchy on top of my blush.
07:27However, these don't do that.
07:28They look really, really nice.
07:30I love the silver one and the gold one.
07:33Miss Rare Beauty just always likes you guys.
07:36Like, I don't know what to tell you.
07:37Then, for mascara, I have two.
07:40First things first, you already know I love the Benefit Bounce one.
07:43Literally one coat and you will see volume.
07:46This just came out and I feel like it's not talked about enough.
07:49Y'all, this is worth your little gold coins.
07:52Just go buy it and your eyelashes will never be the same.
07:55Now, if you're looking for a waterproof mascara, I highly recommend the Milani one.
08:00I haven't tried the actual Milani tubing mascara, but the waterproof one is so good.
08:06And I really love the wand on this one.
08:09And you know this is a good waterproof mascara when, again, freaking makeup melter will not make it come off.
08:15This is good if you're by the pool and you don't want to mess up your mascara.
08:18Or if you're like my one friend and you keep laughing, sorry, Haley, I love you.
08:25Now, for setting sprays, I have three.
08:27First, two of them are by Charlotte Tilbury.
08:30First, I have the normal Airbrush Wallace setting spray.
08:34And then I have this one, which is a more skincare-y mist.
08:38I love it so much.
08:39It feels so nice.
08:41Y'all have already heard about these.
08:42Just buy them.
08:43They're worth your money.
08:44And you get so much.
08:46However, I do run out of it really fast.
08:48Like, look, I'm practically halfway done with this.
08:52Now, if you definitely do not want your makeup to come off, get the all-nighter one.
08:57I specifically love this watermelon-scented one.
08:59This reminds me of summer so much.
09:02Like, let me smell it right now.
09:04Ugh, I love watermelon-scented things.
09:07Now, for lippies, I have a lot.
09:10Firstly, we have these Milani ones.
09:13These are their new glossy pumping moms.
09:15I'm not even sure if they're out yet, but they are so good.
09:19I'm literally, I'm wearing one of their shades right now.
09:22This is shade Ivana.
09:23Let me show you guys.
09:25This is one of the ones that click.
09:27No words, you guys.
09:29It feels so silky smooth.
09:31It's super-duper shiny.
09:33It lasts a very long time, surprisingly.
09:36Milani's already good at lippies, but literally, this is probably one of my favorite ones.
09:40And they also really, really look good if you have a dark lip liner.
09:45They have so many lighter shades.
09:47I just prefer their darker shades.
09:49Next, we have the e.l.f. lip oils.
09:52These are probably one of the best lip oils on the market, and they are so cheap, you guys.
09:57Compared to, like, some Friday's lip balms, like, hello?
10:02My favorite ones are this clear one, this pinky-tinted one, and this red one.
10:08Lastly, if you're trying to just hydrate your lips, I highly recommend the YSL Lip Balms.
10:13This is also a clicky applicator.
10:15This is actually one of my new ones because I actually don't know where my other one went.
10:20However, look.
10:22Y'all just already know that clicky applicators are the best.
10:25I really like the pink clear one, but they have so many other colors, you guys.
10:33Moving on to body care.
10:36Y'all already know I love to smell good.
10:38A scent combo video is coming soon, you guys.
10:41Trust.
10:42Anyways, here are body washes I suggest for the summer.
10:45First, we have this dub one.
10:47I currently have the knockoff version from CVS.
10:50They're practically the same, so if you're looking for a dupe, here you go.
10:55But this one is literally so good.
10:57It has me feeling so stinking clean.
10:59It's so good for a first cleanse.
11:02Also, if you didn't watch my shower routine video, double cleanse with literally everything.
11:08If you don't, you're stinky.
11:10And then, if you're looking for a really good summer scented body wash, I highly recommend the Tropical Glow one by Treehut.
11:19And I love this so much, too, because it literally has sparkles in it.
11:24Speaking of Tropical Glow by Treehut, I have the body scrub and I have the shave oil.
11:29I just love this smell so much.
11:31It reminds me of summer.
11:33Yeah, these are just, like, really, really inexpensive.
11:35I highly recommend it.
11:36And actually, this is one of their thicker body scrubs.
11:39Next, for body lotions, I have three.
11:42Sadly, right now, I don't have any summery scented by body lotion.
11:48But here are ones that are going to keep you super duper moisturized.
11:52First, y'all already know about the EOS body lotions.
11:54I don't even have to say anything about these, to be honest.
11:57This is the vanilla cashmere one, which literally blew up on TikTok.
12:01I'm about to run out of this one.
12:02This smells so good.
12:03I honestly think that you can wear this during any season.
12:06These body lotions literally have you moisturized for 24 hours.
12:11Like, literally, like, the next day I'll wake up, people will still smell this on me.
12:15But a very, very underrated sense of it is the Fresh and Cozy.
12:19This smells like if you're about to go to sleep, you're relaxing, you're watching movies.
12:24This also makes you smell like a clean girl, okay?
12:28Let me put you on to this next one, baby lotion.
12:31Now, y'all are probably yelling at me through the screen, but I'm telling you, baby lotion keeps my eczema in check, okay?
12:40It makes my skin feel super duper moisturized.
12:43And actually, I don't mind the smell.
12:45It smells like a baby's booty, okay?
12:48And actually, I forgot I have a body butter.
12:51But this is the Vaseline Cocoa Glow Body Butter.
12:55Ugh, this smells so good, you guys.
12:58And look at how freaking, like, juicy it looks.
13:01Anything by Vaseline is literally top here.
13:03This makes my skin also feel super duper smooth.
13:06And it literally smells like vanilla mixed with, like, cocoa butter.
13:11Next, y'all need a good sunscreen, okay?
13:14Like, y'all don't want to get sunburned.
13:16This is SPF 50+, and it's a spray bottle, as you can see.
13:20I never get burnt with this, and also, it's really lightweight, which also means that it's, like, good for tanning.
13:26Now, this is probably going to be one of my favorite parts of the video.
13:30Here are perfumes that I recommend.
13:32We're going to go buy body sprays and then actual perfumes.
13:35I have two body sprays that I recommend.
13:38First, we have Coconut Passion by Victoria's Secret.
13:41Also, by the way, I have the OG packaging, you guys.
13:45Not to brag or anything.
13:47But, literally, this smells like coconut and vanilla and ugh.
13:53This literally gives off the vibes in that I'm, like, on vacation, in a resort, drinking my pina coladas.
14:00Here we go again with the freaking Tree Hut Tropical Glow.
14:03And, actually, these two are such a good sun combo.
14:07I'm not going to lie.
14:08Like, maybe I'll put this in my video.
14:10It's so good, you guys.
14:12Like, I don't know why.
14:14Like, I always, like, test out sun combos, and, like, this has been one of my most complimented ones.
14:19But, I love this one so much because not only is this a perfume, but also, it gives off a glittery effect.
14:25Anyways, highly recommend these body sprays.
14:28Moving on to perfume.
14:29I actually have a lot to recommend.
14:31First, you guys have probably seen these on TikTok.
14:34They've been going viral.
14:36These right here.
14:37This is the Ellie's Brooklyn Miami Nectar.
14:40And, the Ellie's Brooklyn Guava Granita.
14:44These are so good.
14:45Let me tell you what these smell like.
14:47This straight up smells like summer.
14:49That's literally all I have to say, to be honest.
14:51Like, this is the one that especially got viral.
14:53I didn't even know that my mom had this.
14:55I'm actually wearing this right now.
14:57Like, it smells like a summer morning.
15:00It smells like I'm in a summer TV show.
15:02It literally, it smells actually surprisingly super duper sweet.
15:07Then, we have the Guava one.
15:09This honestly kind of smells like a Ariana Grande perfume.
15:12But, it's like an Hispanic made it.
15:14This actually straight up does smell like Guava.
15:17Next, I love this perfume brand, you guys.
15:20Seven Virtues is literally so good.
15:23This is their new orange one.
15:24It's called Clementine Dream.
15:26It smells like vanilla and it smells like oranges.
15:30I know people usually wouldn't grab a perfume like this.
15:33But, I've gotten so many compliments with it.
15:35This also just reminds me of summer so much.
15:37Because, when I think of, like, fruits.
15:40Like, oranges, pineapples.
15:42It reminds me of summer.
15:43But, I like this too because it also smells like vanilla.
15:46And, I love vanilla.
15:47And, I think the two mesh together really, really well.
15:49Speaking of vanilla.
15:50If y'all want a cheap, island-y vanilla perfume, this one's your girl.
15:54This is the Pacifica Island Vanilla Perfume.
15:57It literally smells like vanilla and steroids.
15:59It kind of smells like tropical glow mixed with vanilla.
16:03Last thing for body care, here is the deodorant I love to use.
16:06This is the Dove Spray Deodorant.
16:08But, this is zero aluminum.
16:10Y'all, I actually got this from freaking Ross.
16:13Because, my girl literally raved about this Dove Spray Deodorant.
16:17And, literally, this was like 10 times cheaper at Ross.
16:19I don't know why.
16:20But, this literally smells so good.
16:22Like, I usually wouldn't gravitate towards Rose.
16:24But, this smells really nice.
16:26And, when I tell you, I did not stink for two days straight.
16:31Because, lastly, here is hair care.
16:36Lately, I've been using this pattern shampoo and conditioner.
16:40Because, my boyfriend got it for me.
16:42It is so good.
16:44First of all, I love the fact that they made the conditioner bottle freaking bigger.
16:49Than the shampoo bottle.
16:50Because, especially as a curly-haired girly, I use conditioner every single day.
16:55I don't shampoo my hair every single day.
16:56But, I use conditioner every single day.
16:58So, my conditioner usually runs out before my shampoo.
17:02And, then, I just end up having a shampoo bottle.
17:04But, they understood the assignment.
17:07It's so good, you guys.
17:08Like, if you guys have curly hair, I highly recommend.
17:11And, also, this gives a summery vibe as well.
17:14It literally smells like summer as well.
17:16Like, literally, the best part about this is, like, I don't need to put on any curly hair products.
17:20Like, it will kind of just curl my hair on its own.
17:23Especially, if I use both.
17:25And, I don't have the shampoo currently.
17:28However, I love Carol's Daughter.
17:30You can use this for all hair types.
17:32I love it so much.
17:33This actually has a more gingery smell.
17:36But, I actually kind of dig it.
17:37It's so good.
17:38It makes my hair actually more longer.
