00:00did you ever think about waiting to get married a little bit was that ever a conversation or you

00:05guys were just so in love that that just felt like the natural next step yeah i don't think

00:11we really thought i mean my parents got married at 18 my grandparents got married at 18 it's like

00:16very i would say it's pretty normal around where we live um it's a cultural thing i think um our

00:23parents got married super young our friends we have friends who got married at the same age so

00:28let's say if you wait till you're like 30 to get married in our like area i'd say like 75 percent

00:36of the people are like married already yeah most people are married um right it's just the norm

00:41it's just culturally kind of the norm around here so it didn't really cross our minds when people

00:46were saying things but we also i mean we've lived enough life now to know that there it is totally

00:53real that so many other cultures don't live like this and so we can see why it can seem weird to

00:58other people but it's just the way it is here and i wouldn't say that everybody that they're when

01:02they're 18 or 21 or whatever in that range should be ready to get married because some people aren't

01:08like that's the other thing it's like some people are some people aren't and you're not wrong either

01:12way yeah so it's not for everyone but it's what worked for us whatever works for you is totally fine

01:16but you said something interesting before that like people criticized you for getting married so

01:20young but now people are putting the pressure on you being like when are you having a baby that's got to be

01:24like such like a like a mind like you know kind of messes with your mind i would imagine and be like

01:29well you didn't want me to get married but now you want me to have a baby exactly yeah yeah

01:33is that a difficult thing for you to still deal with yeah um i feel like it's just kind of there was

01:43like if it was that easy to just i think what we've learned in marriage and you'll see in our story

01:48like in the show and stuff like i wish getting pregnant and like having kids was as easy as

01:54people act like it is you know what i'm saying like just oh i can just pop out a kid or if we

01:58want to wait we get to choose to wait like it's not that transactional of a thing and i think that's

02:03kind of the reason like when people say stuff it's just like if it was easy or if it was like easy not

02:09to it's like we would but it's like it's not that simple i would say yeah i think people just don't

02:14know kind of what they're talking about or who they're talking to we share a story of infertility

02:18in the show and um that's something that we haven't really shared publicly that much um but that's

02:25something that others just don't know when you just look at someone on social media you can't know what

02:30anyone's going through so um that's kind of a lot of where that i guess confusion can be where people

02:37comment about us um having kids and we're like trust me like you don't have to ask us you know

02:43you know so anyway well as somebody who's been through infertility as well i wish you nothing

02:48but the best because it's definitely a difficult and sometimes lonely place but i commend you for

02:53being honest and open about it because i know that you're probably going to help a lot of people and

02:57i'm sure it wasn't an easy decision to kind of open up about that on camera is that correct

03:02yeah it was not an easy decision i i don't think we necessarily intended on sharing it even um but

03:09it felt right i think that we um we both felt like if we could help anybody especially like

03:16what are the odds that we're on you know this stage where we can share something that is so real for so

03:23many and honestly like if all of our family just showed all the perfect um easiness of everything like

03:31what you know i think that we can kind of show some real side of life and i think that we will in many

03:37ways on the show but this is just one of the ways that we are showing up and being our authentic

03:42selves on this new show well i wish you nothing but the best in your fertility journey definitely
