00:00Labour is absolutely focused on supporting those people who are struggling the most with the cost of living crisis.
00:08If you take pensioners for instance, we've focused the winter fuel allowance on the poorest pensioners
00:13but we've just increased pensions for all pensioners by supporting the triple lock.
00:19That means that today every single pensioner is better off than they were a year ago.
00:24That is the Labour thing to do.
00:25We've increased the national minimum wage by £1,400 for the lowest paid workers in our country.
00:31That is a Labour thing to do.
00:32We've invested £23 billion into fixing our broken National Health Service
00:37and we've seen waiting lists cut for six months in a row.
00:41That is a Labour thing to do.
00:43I am proud of the steps that this government is taking to fix the problems we inherited from the Conservatives.
00:49We can't do it overnight, but we are well on our way.
