00:00Selangor MCA Youth has filed a complaint with the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission calling for

00:06an investigation into the 250 million ringgit my kiosk project under the Housing and Local

00:12Government Ministry. Its chief, Tanjia Sen, claimed that despite the significant investment,

00:18only slightly more than half of the kiosks were being used. He added that many local councils

00:24have kiosks that are not being used effectively and that traders say the kiosks have leaky roofs,

00:29no electricity, and are located in non-strategic areas. Tanjia Sen asked whether the kiosks,

00:35launched under the project's first phase, my kiosk 1.0, would be properly maintained or

00:40upgraded. He also urged the ministry to ensure transparency regarding the my kiosk project by

00:46disclosing all associated costs and agencies, particularly details surrounding the open

00:51tender process for acquiring the kiosks. Responding to Pahang MCA Youth's claim that the market price

00:57was only 12,800 ringgit. Housing and Local Government Minister Nga Korming said yesterday,

01:03the 25,000 ringgit kiosk cost was misleading as it included solar panels, fans, stoves, transport,

01:10installation, and site setup. Pahang MCA Youth Chief Wang Siu-men, however, said that market research

01:17by MCA Youth showed that the cost of the equipment did not justify such a high total and called for an
