00:00Without objection, the gentlewoman is recognized for one minute.
00:05Thank you, sir.
00:06Mr. Speaker, I rise today to oppose our administration's attacks on our nation's non-profit sector.
00:14Since January, our president has launched an all-out assault on our nation's non-profits,
00:20threatening to pull funding and proposing executive orders that target our groups serving the good people of the United States.
00:28And with Republicans pushing a reconciliation bill that will not only kick off millions from their medical care,
00:36but also an administration has created an unprecedented attack, a power to revoke non-profit status,
00:45a reconciliation bill that would allow the executive branch to revoke status from non-profits
00:51that they believe are terrorist-supporting organizations without requiring evidence,
00:57meaning no due process.
00:59This vague provision in Trump's way, it's his way of targeting organizations that he opposes
01:05or just doesn't align with his agenda.
01:08Those are organizations that are doing right in our communities, and we have to say no.
01:13Thank you, and I yield back, sir.
01:16For what purpose does the gentlewoman from Massachusetts seek recognition?
01:19Thank you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you, and I yield back to you.
