Speaking to reporters on Capitol Hill, President Trump defended the charges brought against Rep. LaMonica McIver by the DOJ.

00:00Mr. President, I'd say that your DOJ is weaponizing with the arrest of a congresswoman,

00:07a Democratic congresswoman.

00:08Oh, give me a break. Did you see her? She was out of control.

00:10You know, those days are over. The days of woke, the days of woke, no, I didn't.

00:15The days of woke are over. That woman, I don't, I have no idea who she is.

00:20That woman was out of control. She was shoving federal agents. She was out of control.

00:25The days of that crap are over in this country. We're going to have law and order.

00:28Mr. President, thank you very much. You campaigned on lowering the price of groceries.

00:33How do you justify cutting food assistance in this bill?

00:36Let me just tell you, the cut is going to give everybody much more food because prices are coming way down.

00:42Groceries are down. Eggs. You told me about eggs. You asked me a question about eggs my first week.

00:46You said eggs. I said, I just got here. Tell me about eggs.

00:50And it was going through the road. If you know that eggs now, way down.

00:53Everybody's buying eggs. Groceries down. Energy's down.

00:57Groceries down. Gasoline is now buying, they're buying gasoline now for $1.99.

01:02What I, if you look back, you'll see $3.50, $4.

01:07This country, we're going to lose this country.

01:09Our country now is respected all over the world.

01:12All over the world we're respected. We were a laughing stock.

01:15The entire world was, we were a laughing stock.

01:18I went to the Middle East.

01:19And those rulers of those three countries are very powerful people, very big people, very rich people.

01:25They respect our country again.

01:27China was going to take them over.

01:28You know, China was going to get all, they were going to get into the, if you look, Saudi Arabia.

01:34You take a little look at what was happening with Qatar, UAE.

01:39Great people, unbelievable people, unbelievable leaders.

01:43But they were abandoned by this country.

01:46And they're not going to China anymore.

01:48They love us, we love them.

01:50We're going to take care of them.

01:51And they're going to take care of us.

01:53We came back with $5.1 trillion.

01:55Trillion.

01:56Every other president would have come back having spent $5.1 trillion, as usual.

02:02And remember this, we were losing $5 billion a day under the past administration.

02:11I have to be a little careful the way I talk, because there's a lot of anger about that administration.

02:17And by the way, you ought to, the real question, who ran the auto pen?

02:21Okay, who ran the auto pen?

02:22Because the things that were signed were signed illegally, in my opinion.

02:28I think we've just proved that.

02:29But our country is respected, and all over the world were respected.

02:33We were laughed at seven months ago.

02:35Then you had November 5th, and our country is respected again.
