00:00I am deeply disappointed that the Republican leader did not condemn the Trump administration's
00:05most recent attack on our beloved Capitol Police.
00:09I'm appalled and disgusted at the disrespect the Trump administration is showing to the
00:13Capitol Police by awarding five million dollars to the family of Ashley Babbitt, who broke
00:20into the U.S. Capitol on January 6th.
00:24And I am appalled and disgusted at the thought that my colleagues on the other side of the
00:28aisle support Trump's decision.
00:32Awarding the family of an insurrectionist five million dollars is an insult to first responders,
00:38those who are in the Capitol and those everywhere.
00:41It sends a sickening message to police and all other first responders throughout the country.
00:47When it matters most, Donald Trump will turn his back on you.
