LoC May 20, 2025 (ANI): At a height of 10,260 feet along the extreme Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch, the Indian Army operated a high-altitude surveillance control room during Operation Sindoor. From this location, the Army monitored enemy movements and launched precise strikes on terrorist launchpads based in Pakistan. These launchpads, protected by the Pakistan Army, were destroyed in targeted operations. At this high time, ANI also visited Sasan in Poonch, the ground zero location on the LoC, and spoke to key officers involved in the operation. The Second-in-Command of the deployed regiment, positioned at the LoC opposite Pakistani forces, shared his experience. He explained how the regiment operated in extremely difficult conditions, using advanced surveillance to track and strike terrorist targets. The Commanding Officer (CO) of the same regiment also spoke about the operation. He said the troops carried out their tasks with full dedication and precision, despite the challenges of operating at such a high altitude. From ground zero at 10,260 feet in Poonch, the Army’s actions under Operation Sindoor have dealt a serious blow to Pakistan-supported terrorist activities across the LoC.

00:00All you can see is that we have created a command bunker and surveillance center.
00:06This video is happening in front of you,
00:08that the posts that we have lost,
00:12is a difficult time counting.
00:14When we were carrying out the selection of the targets which we had to destroy,
00:19it was a very well thought of plan
00:22and we wanted to engage only those posts of the enemy
00:26which are being utilized, which are being used by the enemy for the militants
00:31as launch pads for the infiltration.
00:34And we were able to successfully destroy all those posts
00:37which were being used as the launch pads by the militants.
00:41So there is no doubt and in the future also the message is same.
00:44If any terror attempt is there by the enemy or any militant activity happens in Ryoa,
00:49he will be given a befitting reply, no doubt about it.
00:56We will have to create this video,
00:59which is a very special way to draw on for our public.
01:02So, this is the one who lives in the Houshaz group.
01:04The Houshaz group has this video,
01:06which is the one who has watched as aגם video.
01:08We will be provided to our public.
01:10So, this has been looked at the last pic,
01:12and it will be made possible in Salons.
01:14Theவ, there is also not the most important issue.
01:16The Houshaz group has been given by the society,
01:18but also the core of the people that have been described.
01:20The Houshaz group has been referred to as the languages.
01:21Unfortunately, the Houshaz group has been given more information
01:23so far from the Houshaz group.
01:25and in the comments you can see that you have a lot of the launching pad and launch pad.
01:35In the comments you have seen that you have a lot of the launch pad and the launch pad.
01:40How much is your answer?
01:43Look, this is the era, the technology era.
01:47You can see it all.
01:49There is a command, a bunker and surveillance center.
01:52You can see it all in front of you.
01:55We have lost their posts.
01:57There is no need to do counting.
02:00See, as correctly brought out by you, on the intervening 9th of 6th of 7th when Op Sundoor unfolded,
02:06Pakistan unilaterally abrogated the ceasefire.
02:10The ceasefire understanding that was there in place between both the armies.
02:13And indiscriminately it started firing, it started engaging the forward post that is there.
02:17And apart from that, it also engaged the civilians, the innocent civilians that are there in Punj.
02:23And not only the civilians, we also got reports.
02:25You know, we got a lot of phone calls from the civilians that most of the shells were also landing.
02:29I showed you that Gurudwara from the viewpoint.
02:31So a lot of shells also landed at the Gurudwara area.
02:34Punj, as we understand, has been at a, you know, cultural confluence,
02:38at a religious confluence of various cultures and religion that is there.
02:44You know, in one line I showed you the Peer Baba that is there,
02:48and also just behind it I showed you Gurudwara that is there.
02:51Now the enemy clearly understands the kind of harmony that exists in Punj.
02:55And it was by design, and it was purely by design,
02:59and a pre-mediated response which came within 20 minutes that is targeted,
03:03that he started targeted as civilians.
03:05So which not only shows the kind of unprofessionalism,
03:08the lack of ethics that is there with the Pakistan army.
03:11And I think they have been true to themselves.
03:14This is what they can do best.
03:15They have got no might to fight with the Indian army.
03:17They know they are no match.
03:18So this is what they can do best.
03:20Destruction of the terrorist camps and the terrorist installations in POK site,
03:29and especially targeted by the Punj Brigade army,
03:32and the inter-agencies confirmed it,
03:36the heavy loss of the terrorist camps there in POK site.
03:41What would you like to say?
03:43Yes.
03:44So without naming or without disclosing much,
03:47you know, as we call it the long-range vectors,
03:50you know, the heavy equipment that we have which can target the depth,
03:54they were used to target the launch pads.
03:56A lot of launch pads that are there across were targeted,
03:59and at the forward tier, like our deployment is there,
04:02there are various battalions that are deployed.
04:04So the forward tier was also targeted in response to the ceasefire violation that was carried out.
04:10And still the operation Sindhuur is on and not about.
04:14Yes, absolutely.
04:15As told by the Indian army,
04:18Operation Sindhuur continues to be on and we continue to remain alert and vigil.
04:24In future, any act from the terrorist side of Pakistan,
04:30either POK, it will be considered the arm of Sindhuur oppression?
04:38Yes, as made clear by the government of the day and also by Indian army,
04:43that any act of terror would be taken as an act of war.
04:47And a suitable reply will be given.
04:49Maybe they measure, they were in the measure that they understand best.
04:53I would say that technology, exploitation, and my young people,
04:58and joy, we can achieve it and successfully execute it.
05:03And let me tell you one more thing.
05:05I would say,
05:06I would say,
05:07I would say,
05:08I would say,
05:10I would say,
05:11I would say,
05:12I would say,
05:13I would say,
05:14I would say,
05:16I would say,
05:17I would say,
05:18Go to Turkey,
05:19and you see,
05:20you see,
05:21you see,
05:22you see,
05:23which is one of the powerful equipment, helping hand for the Indian Army along LOC and during this conflict of Sindhuur operation, start from 6th and 7th of May to 10th of May,
05:42it shows the camera shows that Indian Army under your operation operating here in this sector destroyed many of the Pakistani Army locations and even we can judge judging that few large beds also have been destroyed under your operation in full operation of Sindhuur.
06:13Yeah, correctly brought out by you that as I said that we were undergoing training 24 by 7 that is a part of job and it is also said the motto which we follow that more we sweat in peace during training less we bleed during war.
06:31So that was the motto and when we were carrying out the selection of the targets which we had to destroy, so it was a very well thought of plan and we wanted to engage only those posts of the enemy which are being utilized,
06:48which are being used by the enemy for the militants as launch pads for the infiltration and we were able to successfully destroy all those posts which were being used as the launch pads by the militants.
07:00And in future, what you are judging being a operator of Indian Army here in this sector of LOC that in future, I hope that Pakistan will not do like such this type of act in this area to input, to push in the terrorists from your location,
07:17towards inside the Indian territory.
07:32I assure you for the same, that yes the kind of fire power which we have brought on to the enemy and the kind of casualties, the number of casualties which we have inflicted of enemy,
07:45he will not dare for the next time that he will do the same thing and then the various launch pads which he was using for the infiltration,
07:53those are as such with these cameras you can make out that those are under surveillance and there is no option that he can carry out the successful infiltration.
08:01If at all he makes that mistake, he will buy it from us, there is no doubt about it.
08:08If in future, if in future, he will do in his dream either practically hope that the act of war will be announced against the enemy.
08:23Yeah, this was very clear, this message was very clear even from the Op Sindhur also,
08:28that the moment this Pahlgaon attack was carried out by the militants, so we were very clear about our hierarchy,
08:35that we will be doing, we will be asked to carry out some task, so that is why we were well prepared.
08:42So there is no doubt and in the future also the message is same.
08:45If any terror attempt is there by the enemy or any militant activity happens in Ryoa, he will be given a befitting reply, no doubt about it.
08:53A lot of thanks, Commanding Officer, operating upon LOC, Punt Sector.
