00:45are going to have the highest tax increase that you've ever had.

00:47Among the debt ceiling cliff that's approaching and all the other problems,

00:51this is the bill to do it.

00:52I think we're going to get it done, Mr. President.

00:54The Democrats want to raise your taxes if this doesn't work,

00:57if this doesn't get the numbers that the Republicans want.

04:04Not only that, remember, I'm cutting drug prices by 85%.

04:08And right now, I'm saving it.

04:13I'm saving the whole thing, because I did something that nobody was willing to do.

04:17Other countries pay a tiny fraction what we do.

04:21And I instituted favorite nations.

04:23We're now going to pay the lowest in the world.

04:25We're going to be the equivalent of the lowest country in the world.

04:30People go to London.

04:32They go to Canada.

04:33They go to other countries, many other countries, because they want to buy their pharmaceutical

04:38products, their drugs, at a fraction of the cost.

04:42Now, we're going to have the lowest cost anywhere in the world.

04:45Nobody else would do that but me.

04:46And that might be an election by itself.

04:50It might be election-winning.

04:51Now, when you add that in, when you put that into Medicaid and Medicare, we've just strengthened

04:56Medicare and Medicaid.

04:57And the Democrats won't do that.

04:59You know why?

04:59Because they're taken care of by the drug companies.

05:02And the ones that are taken care of are hard-line.

05:05Some Republicans get money from drug companies.

05:09And that's okay, because they're okay with it.

05:11I talked about it.

05:13The drug companies take care of everybody.

05:15It's the biggest lobby, most powerful lobby in the world.

05:18There's no lobby like that.

05:20But the Republicans are okay with it.

05:22Not only okay with it, they love it.

05:24It was time.

05:25So we're going to cut drug prices by from 75 to 85.

05:30In some cases, even more than that.

05:32You know, I was telling the story that, and some of you were at that news conference.

05:35I gave a news conference where I was the first one in 18 years to cut drug costs for the year.

05:42And they were like a quarter of a point to half a point less.

05:45And I was very proud of that.

05:46Now I'm cutting them by 80, 85 percent because I stopped the scam.

05:53This was a scam between the middlemen and the drug companies.

05:57This was a giant scam.

05:58And by the way, and other countries, because other countries fought for this.
