00:00Today, outside my cat rescue, this container was left at our door.
00:06Can you guess? Can you guess where this story's going?
00:09This teeny tiny cage was also next to that tote.
00:13Inside the cage was our mama cat, and inside that blue tote was her six babies.
00:23Before I introduce you to the Sesame Street gang behind me, I need to tell you two things.
00:26One, we are a cat rescue who is currently full and does not have space.
00:30We technically don't have space for these seven cats.
00:33They're in this cage because, one, we don't have any other cages to hold them in.
00:37This is far too small of a cage for a mom with six babies.
00:40But additionally, this is the only cage that has small enough grates that they won't slip through.
00:44So now we have to juggle and move things around to try to figure this out.
00:48I'm going to talk more in depth about that, so please don't jump in the comments and start giving me suggestions.
00:51By the time you see this video, we already have it all figured out.
00:54But at the time of me filming this, we don't have it figured out yet.
00:57Second of all, we need financial help to be able to care for this mother and her six sons,
01:03because yes, all of her babies are boys, for the rest of the time that they're with us.
01:08They're going to be with us for at least three months based off of their age before they're able to get fixed.
01:13And we need help being able to provide for them for the next six months
01:16because we were not accepting animals, we don't have space for any animals,
01:19we don't have the funds to care for any more animals, so we need help.
01:22So if you're seeing this video, that means the fundraiser is already live.
01:25Please shlick on the shlink in my shlayo to even just donate $1 towards the care of the Sesame Street gang.
01:33Actually, one more thing.
01:34Before you get in the comments and you're like,
01:35Well, at least they dropped them off instead of leaving them anywhere and blah, blah, blah.
01:39No.
01:39Dumping animals is a crime federally in the United States.
01:43It is animal abuse.
01:45And these kittens were left inside of a rubber tote.
01:48Not even rubber.
01:49It was a plastic tote.
01:50With no air holes.
01:51Completely shut in and probably for hours in the 80 degree heat.
01:56They are lucky they are alive.
01:58Two of them aren't even a pound.
02:00I think two of them might need to be removed from mom and hand bottle fed
02:04because they are so incredibly small.
02:07So no, if you are here to leave that comment, I will be blocking you.
02:11That is absolutely absurd and I am mad and I am devastated for these cats.
02:16That is disgusting.
02:17And I try so hard to keep these emotions off of camera when I do filming like this
02:22because I know that it doesn't help anything to be like that.
02:25But no, this is not okay.
02:27This was not okay.
02:31Okay.
02:35Let's just let me just sit on that and let me introduce you to the gang.
02:40So this is one of our babies that is under a pound.
02:45Um, we have six boys and mama cat.
02:49Mama cat is of course named Sesame.
02:52She is so sweet.
02:53She was so scared yesterday.
02:55She peed when they brought her in, but she was separated from her kittens,
02:59left in a tiny cage, like completely open.
03:01So she was probably the most scared, especially since she wasn't with her babies.
03:06Um, they are all eating and drinking, so they are doing well.
03:08Um, and like I said, they are all boys.
03:10So let me get each boy out and let you know what we named them.
03:13If you didn't catch on, we named them all after Sesame Street caricatures.
03:17So this black and white one is Bert and this gray and white one is Ernie.
03:21They are both under a pound.
03:23They are both the smallest.
03:24Bert is actually the smallest of the two.
03:26Um, and like I said, they're both boys.
03:28So this is Bert and this is Ernie.
03:31These are the two.
03:32I don't know if they're going to be able to stay with mom.
03:34They might need to go be bottle fed.
03:36They might just need supplemental feedings.
03:38We have to figure that out.
03:40Bert and Ernie.
03:41All right, let me get the next ones.
03:43I know.
03:45Okay, let me show them each to you individually.
03:46This is Bert.
03:52Yes.
03:52Okay, let me get Ernie.
03:58We should close it.
04:00Bert weighed, um, 0.64.
04:04And Ernie weighs exactly 0.70.
04:08This is Ernie.
04:09He's so cute.
04:13Okay, next two.
04:15This is Grover.
04:18Hi, Grover.
04:20You can tell Grover and Bert apart because Bert is obviously smaller, but Grover only has one black toe.
04:26The rest of his toes are white.
04:28Yeah, you're so cute.
04:30If you've been following me for a while, you might remember a couple weeks ago, I did a video about a list of names that I want to name cats.
04:38And I got to check one off the list because this is Elmo and this is Rocco.
04:44Rocco's sleepy because he was just nursing.
04:46I pulled him off the nip for this video.
04:48We're going to go put him back on it.
04:49And then this fluffy baby is Snuffy.
04:54If you don't know who Snuffy is, this is the Muffet we named him after because he's fluffy.
05:00I tried to pull mom out to show you mom, but she really doesn't want to be away from her babies.
05:04And since she was kept separate from them yesterday, I'm not going to do that to her.
05:07So we're going to keep her in the cage.
05:08This is the picture.
05:10These are my volunteers' feet.
05:11This gentleman is an employee that works at a business next to the cat rescue and actually was the one who saw him before my volunteers got here for the evening.
05:21And this is what was found.
05:24If you look right here in the cage, you'll actually be able to see mom.
05:27Can you see her a little bit right here?
05:29See her a little bit?
05:30And then, yeah, inside here was all six babies.
05:33Luckily, none were seeming heat stroke, all eating, all drinking, all are acting normal.
05:38I mean, with them right now, they're climbing.
05:40They're climbing around.
05:41I gave them some toys.
05:42They're on top of the scratching post.
05:44She's eating.
05:44They're all eating and drinking.
05:46So we're doing well, but we need to get them checked out by the vet to make sure they're not sick.
05:50And we need to figure out space.
05:52I need to figure out if Bert and Ernie need extra feedings.
05:56So this is all happening in real time, people.
05:59Come back for an update.
06:00I don't think I'll have an update.
06:02I'm posting this live.
06:03So you're seeing this Tuesday.
06:04I'm posting this on Tuesday.
06:06They were found on Monday.
06:07So Wednesday, they're going to the vet.
06:10So I'll have an update tomorrow.
06:11And then I'll probably update back here on Thursday.
06:14If you want to stay up to date on updates, I do update my TikTok or my Instagram more than I update my TikTok.
06:19I'll put that here.
06:21If you are able to donate even just $1 towards helping us care for the Sesame Street gang, that would be so appreciative.
06:27Because this is now seven more cats that we're going to have to care for for at least four months before they can go up for adoption.
06:34We're going to have to get all of them fixed.
06:35We're going to have to get all of their shots.
06:37And they haven't even been to the vet.
06:38My vet can't get them until tomorrow.
06:39So we don't even know.
06:41We need them tested for FIV, FELV.
06:43They could have anything like that, which would complicate things even more.
06:46Like, we have no idea what has just fallen into our lap.
06:50And we need to be prepared for anything because these seven lives are precious.
06:54And we need to be able to give them the help that they need.
06:56But we need your help to be able to do that.
06:59To the person who left them outside our door, just in case they see this, you're so lucky they didn't die.
07:04You're so incredibly lucky that they didn't die.
07:07You left them outside a door that we don't use.
07:09So we're really lucky that this person even saw them.
07:16I have so many things to say.
07:18But all I can say is you get what's coming for you.
07:22You get bad karma for this.
07:24Actually, seven bad karmas because that was seven souls that you dumped.
07:28Please stay and neuter your animals.
07:29So rescues like me have space to actually take in mom and cats like this so they don't get dumped inside storage containers outside our door.
07:35I have a lot of mixed emotions.
07:37But I'm going to go because I have work to do.
07:38I have to help these babies now.
07:41So thank you so much.
07:43Have a great day.
07:44Except to the person who left them outside my door.
07:46I hope that person has a bad day every single day for the rest of their life.
