00:00You know, it was fun.

00:04All spring, you worked for the spring game,

00:06so to be able to show what you guys have done throughout the spring,

00:09you know, it's a lot of fun, especially to start the game like that,

00:11get the intensity flowing.

00:16I think nearly every one of your former teammates

00:18who got drafted this weekend,

00:20including specifically the defensive guys,

00:22when they were asked about who's a guy coming back to keep an eye out on,

00:26they all said you, and all the defenders said they hated going against you,

00:30and you're impossible to tackle, and all.

00:32What was it about?

00:33Go into your process a little bit of preparation last season

00:36and what you think your role could be this season

00:38when clearly you were annoying defenders in practice.

00:41We just didn't get to see it quite as much as you probably hoping during games.

00:43My preparation coming in as a freshman was just, you know,

00:46coming to work and be the best I could be every day.

00:50So scout team, that's where I was freshman year,

00:52behind, you know, Momo and Noah, good backs.

00:54So every day on scout team, I just went out there and, you know,

00:58gave the defense work, gave them the best look

00:59so they could be ready on Saturday.

01:01But, you know, coming in this year,

01:03I got a bigger role, hopefully.

01:05You know, I feel like I'm ready.

01:07I'm going to keep working doing this offseason,

01:08keep doing what I can do to, you know, step up.
