Trump signs 'Take It Down Act' outlawing 'revenge porn'  US President Donald Trump signs a bill making it a federal crime to post "revenge porn" — whether it is real or generated by artificial intelligence. The "Take It Down Act," passed with overwhelming bipartisan congressional support, criminalizes non-consensual publication of intimate images, while also mandating their removal from online platforms. "With the rise of AI image generation, countless women have been harassed with deepfakes and other explicit images distributed against their will," Trump says at the signing ceremony in the Rose Garden of the White House. 00:08With the rise of AI image generation,

00:10countless women have been harassed with deepfakes

00:13and other explicit images,

00:15distributed against their will.

00:17This is the wrong, and it's just so horribly wrong.

00:21And it's a very abusive situation,

00:24like in some cases people have never seen before.

00:27And today we're making it totally illegal.

00:33Under the law, I will sign in just a moment

00:36anyone who intentionally distributes explicit images

00:39without the subject's consent

00:41will face up to three years in prison.

00:43In addition, this law establishes new civil liabilities

00:46for online platforms

00:48that refuse to take these images down promptly upon request.

00:52We will not tolerate online sexual exploitation

00:55and especially it's gone on at levels

00:59that nobody's ever seen before.

01:00It's getting worse and worse.

01:02This legislation is a powerful step forward in our efforts

01:07to ensure that every American, especially young people,

01:12can feel better protected from their image or identity

01:17being abused through non-consensual intimate imagery of AI and CII.

01:47So that we don't have it, on the way we are going to vote.

01:49And that is a time you have to give them the information

01:50to put your rights to the same person

01:52or supporting them through the issues.

01:53You can do that from one another.

01:54There's a time you can do it and you can do it.

01:55What does it look like?

01:56Do magic or do magic or do magic or do magic or do magic.

01:57Maybe you will never look like black or and red.

01:58Remember, it's the same thing to do.

01:59And is it that time as they do the magic or do magic.

02:06And that means to come too little magic,

02:08it's very narrow.
