30:32medios de comunicación, que la manifestación artística y cultural del país también pase por utilizar otro tipo
30:38del lenguaje. Tú eres un hombre muy experimentado en los medios de comunicación, y aunque puedes tener en algún
30:43momento alguna incomodidad, lo haces dentro del marco del respeto. Lo haces utilizando una terminología
30:50auténtica, cabal, que pueda aplicarse en horario de la televisión, o pueda aplicarse en la radio, porque también
30:58estás en esos medios. Yo creo que nosotros debemos de manera conjunta, nosotros alzamos la voz y colocamos
31:05esta propuesta, pero queremos que sea asumida, que los medios de comunicación la asuman con un criterio propio.
31:13Si TeleSistema tiene una línea de programación y de promoción, que puedan incluir el modelo, el poder de las buenas
31:21palabras, pero quizás con la esencia del canal, o con un determinado grupo empresarial, grupo social.
31:28En fin, yo creo que esta es una actitud y una postura que debe ser asumida por el resto de la sociedad dominicana.
31:35Y nosotros como Ministerio y Gobierno de la República Dominicana, estamos dando un paso al frente.
31:39Entendiendo que mejorando la conversación, cambiando el tono, moderándolo, siendo más respetuoso, podemos
31:47tener posturas distintas, Roberto. Pero en un ambiente y en un marco de respeto, las cosas pueden dirigirse
31:53mejor. Y bajo ese criterio y bajo esa premisa, hemos lanzado hoy el poder de las buenas palabras, procurando
31:59llevar esta discusión al seno de la sociedad dominicana de manera conjunta.
32:04Ahora, la iniciativa va a contar con piezas comunicacionales, contará con recomendaciones que haga el propio
32:12Ministerio de Cultura, a canales como el nuestro, a influenciadores. ¿Cómo será?
32:16Todo ese elemento. Pavel Núñez ha compuesto una canción, que hoy la estrenamos también en el Palacio de
32:22las Artes, en la Sala Máximo Aviles Blonda. También hemos iniciado la colocación de unas piezas.
32:29Y es un punto de partida, es un marco referencial para que los medios de comunicación, para que las
32:34empresas, para que las comunidades, las universidades, los centros educativos, puedan asumir una postura
32:40alrededor de este tema. Nosotros lo que hemos presentado hoy es la base, es un marco para que pueda
32:47establecerse una especie de punto de partida, para que esto pueda tener mayor calado.
32:52Yo creo que a mí me parece espectacular que se haya dado, y que lo planteen de manera transversal.
33:01Porque no se trata de obligar a un niño a que hable como un adulto. Habrá que trabajar sobre su propio
33:10idioma, y hablo de los adolescentes, y pueden utilizar ahora que lo que, y todo eso está bien.
33:16Porque al final de lo que se trata es de buscar palabras que nos hagan entender dentro de la
33:22diferencia, pero buscando un fin común. Y eso se necesita conversarlo.
33:31He discutido varias veces, y ahora que está muy sobre el tapete la ley de libre expresión, etcétera,
33:37he tenido aquí a un invitado español que, por ejemplo, difiere de mí, porque él está en contra
33:44de todo tipo de regulación en las redes sociales, porque va contrario a su manera de pensar.
33:51Yo creo que sí deben ser reguladas, pero coincidimos en algo.
33:56Hay que empezar a trabajar la cultura del buen decir desde lo más pequeño.
34:02Si vamos a sentarnos a echarle la culpa a lo que dejaron de hacer en el gobierno de Salvador Odeblanco,
34:07o en el de Trujillo, o en el de Balaguer, que si no hubo cultura, que si no se trabajó en eso,
34:12que si la educación... Vamos a seguir regodeándonos en lo mismo.
34:16Claro. Estamos, Roberto, ante una sociedad distinta. Este es el siglo XXI.
34:20Estamos en el año 2025. Hay una configuración distinta.
34:23Nosotros desde el Ministerio de Cultura acabamos de anunciar la nueva versión de la Feria Internacional
34:27del Libro, Santo Domingo 2025, y la orientación este año es la literatura infantil.
34:32¿Qué queremos? Crear una conducta y una condición mucho más cercana de los niños
34:38hacia el libro y la lectura. A esta altura de tu edad, Roberto, si no te gusta...
34:43De nuestra edad.
34:44De nuestra edad.
34:45Exacto.
34:46A esta altura de tu vida, si no te gustara la lectura, bueno, ya sería casi un caso perdido.
34:51Si te gusta, bienvenido sea. Pero en los más pequeños, en tu hijo, por ejemplo,
34:55podemos generar una modificación en ese sentido y atraerlo al mundo de la literatura,
35:00al mundo de los libros, y eso es importante. Entonces, este tipo de iniciativas que nosotros
35:06acabamos de poner a consideración de un amplio segmento de la sociedad,
35:11es muy importante porque persigue ese fin. Ese fin de cambio, ese fin de una reorientación.
35:18Tenemos hoy un grupo importante de jóvenes en los medios de comunicación
35:23con un nivel de impacto apreciable en amplios sectores de la sociedad dominicana.
35:28¿Y qué queremos? Que la viralización de un video no sea sobre la base de malas palabras,
35:33no sea sobre la base del irrespeto, no sea sobre la base de las calumnias,
35:37de sentimientos distorsionados. No, por el contrario.
35:40Yo creo que ya tienen un nivel de impacto importante en muchos sectores del país
35:45y pueden seguir con ese nivel de impacto en un ambiente y en un diálogo mucho más cordial,
35:52más sano, que contribuya aún más a una discusión, a un intercambio de impresiones
35:57que puede hacerse en el marco del respeto, en el marco de la caballerosidad, de la honorabilidad.
36:02Yo creo que la sociedad dominicana, los medios de comunicación,
36:05pero creo que el país en su conjunto se merece un tratamiento distinto a la hora de manejarse,
36:11de dirigirse, de intercambiarse unos a otros lo que dicen, lo que piensan, lo que creen.
36:18Yo creo que por ahí vamos y ese es el objetivo fundamental, la base de sustentación de esta iniciativa.
36:23Así como se reunieron hoy en la presentación con un grupo de intelectuales,
36:26directores de medios, hombres y mujeres del arte,
36:29¿piensan también tratarlo y conversarlo, por ejemplo, con influenciadores, con youtubers, con instagramers?
36:36Todo. Nosotros vamos a hacer un gran periplo.
36:38Con esto no quiero decir que donde único se hable mal sea en las redes sociales.
36:43No, no, ocurre en los medios también, ocurre en una parada, ocurre en el metro.
36:49Entonces, de lo que tratamos en el día a día, lo que tratamos es de evitar lo que no ocurre en ningún lugar.
36:55Pero a veces ocurre en el seno familiar, estás en la privacidad del hogar
36:59y probablemente se utilice una frase o una expresión que daña, una expresión que lastima.
37:06Entonces, en ese sentido, nosotros tenemos que hacer una conversación amplia.
37:09Vamos a involucrar a influenciadores, a gente de los medios de comunicación,
37:13a gente de la empresa privada, a organizaciones sociales.
37:16Vamos a hacer un periplo por todas las universidades del país,
37:19a tener un encuentro también con la escuela privada y la escuela pública.
37:23En sentido general, yo creo que es una acción que nos compete a todos, no es exclusiva.
37:27Y por eso nosotros tenemos una postura muy abierta, muy de apertura,
37:32para que esta conversación tampoco sea un tema de moda.
37:35Esto no va a pasar mañana.
37:36Esto es una acción que tiene que permanecer.
37:39Y conjuntamente con una serie de políticas que nosotros estamos elaborando
37:43y desarrollando desde el Ministerio de Cultura,
37:45esta es una transversal.
37:46Y mientras vamos, por ejemplo, desarrollando la Bienal que estamos preparando este año,
37:51debe ir corriendo el poder de las buenas palabras.
37:54Mientras hablamos del Festival Internacional de Teatro,
37:56debe correr el poder de las buenas palabras.
37:58O la Feria Internacional del Libro, o Calle Cultura,
38:01que es una iniciativa que estamos desarrollando para descentralizar la cultura.
38:04En fin, Roberto, yo creo que esto tiene que acompañar
38:07todo el accionar del Ministerio de Cultura y del gobierno de la República Dominicana.
38:11Así sea.
38:12Y además creo que la propia sociedad ha ido dando señales
38:18de por dónde va el trato de las buenas palabras.
38:22Recientemente, hace apenas, no hace una semana todavía,
38:26cuatro presidentes de la República Dominicana,
38:29en diferentes momentos de la vida,
38:31se reunieron, no hubo insultos, no hubo malas caras,
38:38no hubo resquemores, nadie cuestionó, nadie.
38:43Fueron con diferencias a tratar un tema tan vital como la soberanía
38:48y todo transcurrió en paz y armonía.
38:51Ahí hay un gran ejemplo de cómo podemos utilizar los espacios de concertación
38:57con buenas palabras y buen ánimo para avanzar en lo que queremos,
39:02que es una mejor sociedad para todos.
39:04Efectivamente, Roberto.
39:05Esencialmente, nosotros queremos cambiar la actitud.
39:08Una actitud que pase de ser agresiva e intolerante
39:12a una donde prevalezca el respeto y la tolerancia.
39:15Yo creo que eso que mostramos con el presidente Luis Abinader
39:18y los expresidentes en esa reunión, que tiene una característica histórica,
39:22la historia dominicana no lo recuerda,
39:25en las últimas décadas, que un evento de esa categoría,
39:29que no sea bajo una crisis, la crisis política de 1994,
39:33con la firma del pacto por la democracia,
39:35sí generó un encuentro, pero era bajo una coyuntura muy particular
39:39de una crisis política post-electoral
39:41con lo que ocurrió en esas elecciones del año 1994.
39:44Pero creo que ahora, 30 años después, en un escenario y en un esquema distinto,
39:49tenemos a un presidente con ex jefes de gobierno
39:53desarrollando una conversación con mucho nivel,
39:57con mucho respeto, con mucha cordialidad,
39:59con un tema, como tú bien señalas,
40:01que es trascendente para la vida del pueblo dominicano.
40:04Entonces, yo creo que, utilizando ese modelo,
40:06debemos irlo replicando en todos los estratos sociales,
40:09en toda la base de nuestra sociedad,
40:12y trabajar, debemos insistir en esto.
40:15No es una labor única y exclusivamente de hoy,
40:17porque lo ponemos a consideración del público.
40:20Creo que es una labor donde no podemos agotarnos.
40:22Tenemos que insistir en que esto es posible.
40:25Esta es una sociedad que ha ido madurando,
40:27es una sociedad que ha ido desarrollándose social y económicamente
40:31de manera apreciable,
40:33y eso pasa también por ir mejorando su nivel de educación.
40:37Yo creo firmemente en que tenemos ese potencial,
40:40ese potencial para cambiar, para mejorar,
40:42para que esta sea una sociedad cada vez más generosa,
40:45más solidaria, utilizando siempre las buenas palabras.
40:49Así sea.
40:50Pues nada, démosle a las buenas palabras el poder que merece.
40:54Enhorabuena por esta iniciativa del Ministro de Cultura,
40:58de todo su equipo del Ministerio de Cultura.
41:00Ojalá cuando le toquen las puertas a todos, comunicadores,
41:04artistas, le abran las puertas a las escuelas,
41:07los colegios, los centros de trabajo también,
41:10porque no fábricas,
41:12de todo se puede aprender,
41:14de un campesino en un campo que ha mantenido también
41:19la tradición de las buenas palabras a su estilo,
41:22sea poniéndole la I y la E, y compá y esto y lo otro.
41:26Pero al final se trata de un idioma español a nuestro estilo
41:31con un buen sentido de darle a las palabras el poder que merece,
41:36sobre todo a las buenas palabras,
41:38a las buenas palabras por la paz y la coexistencia de todos,
41:42por un mejor país para todos.

42:42La Casa,
42:43informó hoy que un camión perteneciente a una empresa privada,
42:46perforó accidentalmente una tubería de 67 pulgadas
42:51del acueducto oriental Barrera de Salididad,
42:55obligando la suspensión del servicio de agua potable
42:59en varios sectores del municipio Santo Domingo Este.
43:04Recibimos la información de que se había producido una avería en una tubería.
43:08Cuando hicimos la evaluación,
43:10se ha establecido que la avería afectada
43:12es la línea principal de 67 pulgadas de hormigón armado pretensado.
43:17Esta avería fue provocada por un camión perforador
43:21incluyendo un filtrante.
43:24Este camión no contaba con permiso
43:26de la Corporación del Acueducto de Santo Domingo.
43:30Nos encontramos acá trabajando para evaluar
43:34cuál sería la solución más factible a esta avería.
43:42Salcedo dijo que la evaluación será determinante
43:46para definir el tipo de pieza que deberá fabricarse
43:49a fin de ejecutar la reparación definitiva de la tubería.
