00:00The Yankees took two out of three from the Mets. They beat them 8-2 last night in the Bronx.
00:05It was tied at two going into the eighth. And then a big blow from Cody Bellinger.
00:10Man, did he have a huge night. ESPN.
00:13Swills and sends one to right. That sends Soto back. He is on the track. He reaches. It's a grand slam.
00:21Yeah, and it was very exciting. A lot of people had the under 8-1⁄2, and that was wiped with that shot.
00:34It was. And I was hoping that, like, I wanted the soul man call of that.
00:38The soul man had the laryngitis. He didn't do the game last night, the soul man.
00:44Didn't finish out Yankees-Mets on Sunday night.
00:47I've given him the business lately when he took off the weekend series in Seattle,
00:52and then he came home and got laryngitis, and now people are calling him names.
00:58I did see a little bit about that a couple weeks ago when they were out on the West Coast.
01:02Give the guy a break.
01:04Boomer gave him the business.
01:07The other guy couldn't do the job anymore because he ran himself into the ground at 80 years old
01:11doing every single game. Let the guy see his family in Seattle for a couple days. Who cares?
01:16Get over it.
01:19Of course, Juan Soto returned to the Bronx. That did not go well for him.
01:22He had a rough weekend. Aaron Judge was glad the Yankees won two out of three,
01:27and I guess you could say it was nice to see Soto.
01:29Do you have a quick moment with Soto? What did you take away from that?
01:34I just said hello to him. I hadn't seen him all series.
01:38Just kind of wishing him the best.
01:39You can say it. I don't really like it.
01:41Best in the game. You know, things like this are going to happen. Just keep playing your game.
01:44So, no, it was good to see him.
01:48But happy we were to kind of either walk him or not let him do any damage, especially in this series.
01:55Yeah, I mean, let's just face facts, Aaron.
01:58He's on the Mets and screw him.
02:00I mean, honestly, he's got to get in the rhythm of everyone else.
02:03I thought on Friday night when they turned their backs to him out in the Bleacher Creatures, it was fantastic.
02:10And they gave him the business all weekend long.
02:12And, you know, it kind of makes me sick that he's buddy-buddy with him.
02:17Like, he's pals with him because they played together.
02:19He left. See you later. You're not my pal anymore.
02:23I don't think that they were as buddy-buddy as it seems.
02:31I've seen Judge with some other guys who have been on the Yankees in the past.
02:35It doesn't – I think that Soto is kind of like a guy who's – he's kind of on his own island.
02:41I mean, you accept it because he's so damn good. You accept it.
02:45But, like, we did this in the offseason.
02:47Like, remember, like, he never called him or texted him any time, like, when he was trying to decide what to do.
02:54I don't know if they would –
02:54I think he's a great hitter and a great at-bat, and that's it.
02:59He's a mercenary.
02:59I think he's just a great hitter.
03:01I mean, that's what they pay him for is that bat.
