00:00Fresh off his calling out Taylor Swift, the president has decided there are a bunch of other celebrities that he wants investigated, actually, namely Beyonce, Bruce Springsteen, and Oprah.
00:15The Bruce one doesn't surprise me because of their tiff from last week.
00:19Oh, they went back and forth.
00:19It seems like President Trump's been looking for a reason to go after Springsteen, and he thinks that he and Oprah and Beyonce were illegally paid to endorse Kamala Harris.
00:30And so he is calling for an investigation.
00:33We know what that means when he says, I'm calling for a major investigation.
00:38That means he calls up the attorney general and says, Pam, do your thing.
00:42Can I use my sometimes faulty memory for a second?
00:45My recollection is this came up with Oprah, and she squarely addressed it when she had that town hall with her, and she said, I didn't get anything.
00:55Right.
00:56My memory?
00:56That is, your memory is correct.
00:58Ah!
00:59Yeah.
00:59Ah!
00:59In fact, this is in this video where she said it.
01:01Oh, okay.
01:02Yeah.
01:03There you go.
01:04So that one, that ship made it.
01:07Prevagen.
01:07No, just kidding.
01:08I didn't.
01:08I'm not using it.
01:10He's not endorsing anything.
01:13Well, for free, I'm not endorsing anything.
01:14So the Oprah.
01:18Any advertisers out there?
01:20But yeah, so Oprah's addressed this, and now he wants Bruce and Beyonce to do the same.
01:26Even the Beyonce call out was like, not only did she get paid, but she didn't even sing a song.
01:32She just went up there and did the endorsement and walked off.
01:34And he's like, how embarrassing that she wouldn't sing.
01:36I've got a question.
01:37Actually, I'm the lawyer, and I should know this.
01:39But is it illegal for a celebrity to take money?
01:45I thought if there's any issue, it's going to be on the candidate and the candidate's organization.
01:51But I don't know that it's wrong for him.
01:53I don't know either.
01:54And the other thing that's, I don't know.
01:55It seems weird for the guy who had his buddy holding a lottery to get people to vote for him, that he is calling out someone else for maybe paying, I don't know.
02:10It was obviously, the must thing was open to all types of voters.
02:13But anyway, I think this is stupid.
02:16I think it's a misstep for Trump, and I know he cannot help himself sometimes, but there are a lot of really positive things going on right now for his administration, at least the way I see it.
02:25And I think this distracts.
02:27Who cares?
02:27You handily beat Kamala Harris in the election.
02:30Why look back?
02:31Who cares what Beyonce got or Oprah got?
02:33It's irrelevant.
02:34It doesn't matter.
02:35Just why distract from a lot of the good things happening?
02:38Honestly, if they did get paid, it was money wasted by the Democrats and by Kamala's campaign.
02:43Why put the attention back on the election? Who cares? It's over with. It's months ago.
02:47He just can't let it go.
02:49And it's interesting because, you know, I will say, Charles and I were just talking about this during the break.
02:53There's a Trump policy now when it comes to dealing with the rest of the world.
02:58And the way it's shaping up is you're not going to judge other countries based on Democratic values.
03:03It's all based on money.
03:04Transactions.
03:05And it's, you know, and it's creating a light.
03:07If there's money in it for America, he's all for it.
03:10And if there's money in it for him, he might be in for that too.
03:12And it's getting some traction.
03:13If I get a jet here or there?
03:14But that's getting some traction even on the left.
03:18Even on the left.
03:19So, like Babcock says.
03:22Some traction on the left.
03:23I didn't say a lot.
03:24But a lot of it has to do with the messenger.
03:26Right.
03:27And a 747.
03:28Exactly.
03:28But beyond that, it is getting some traction.
03:31To now, you know, get into Beyonce and Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen.
03:35We all know there's a reason, right?
03:37This is all.
03:37Can't let it go.
03:38One, can't let it go.
03:40And two, he knows that people will talk about that and they'll stop talking about other things.
03:45KC, California.
03:46Trump needs to focus on bigger issues going on in the U.S.
03:50Also, I feel like if he wants to gain more respect from more people, he needs to just act.
03:55If he's going to do the investigation, then do the investigation.
03:58He needs to stop going to social media and ranting.
04:01But I feel like this is a ploy to get everyone riled up again, cause more division, and gain more attention.
04:08Okay, so I got a question for you.
04:10If a video surfaces of Pam Bondi rocking out at a Springsteen concert, does she get fired?
04:19I think she probably will.
04:20I think Trump will go that far and do that, too.
04:23You did what?
04:25Sir, it was 15 years ago.
04:27So what?
04:28Go what?
04:28Listen to me.
04:29No, I know.
04:30Who did that deal with me?
04:31No, but he said you passed.
04:32You did.
04:33I don't know.
04:35So let's go.
