00:00Come along with me to the Pier Café in Lossieburg, where I try the finest matches that Murray has to offer.

00:06Upon my arrival, I was greeted by friendly staff who pointed me towards a comfortable seat by the window.

00:12The decor was tasteful and chic.

00:14Light pulled in from the windows and I kept thinking to myself,

00:17there really is no better place to sit than Lossie on a sunny day.

00:21The menu offered a plentiful selection of bagels, toasties and sandwiches,

00:25with a soup of the day as a welcoming accompaniment.

00:28As a woman in her mid-twenties, I wasn't able to resist the strawberry matcha latte.

00:33It was fresh, it was sweet and it was so lovely.

00:35Just what I needed on this hot sunny day.

00:38For my main, I went for the Nduya Cheese Toasty.

00:41It was slightly pricey at £10.90, but the fusser within me did opt to remove the tomato and rocket from inside the sandwich.

00:48Undeniably, it was a delicious toasty.

00:51I couldn't fault the quality of the ingredients.

00:53I feel that a side salad and coleslaw on the side was all that was missing.

00:58Already feeling stuffed, I ordered a banana bread and hot chocolate to take away.

01:02The hot chocolate was genuinely one of the nicest I've ever had.

01:05It was smooth and indulgent, without being overly sweet.

01:09And what a view.

01:10I don't know why I went for hot chocolate in this heat, but I wasn't complaining.

01:15The banana bread was soft and gooey and teeming with bananas.

01:18My colleague Alistair also enjoyed it.

01:21Overall, I spent £24.30 for this dining experience.

01:25Though slightly pricier, you would pay equivalent amounts for a Starbucks.

01:29And with the rising costs of running a local business, I think the price tags are understandable.

01:34For the food, I give five stars.

01:36It was high quality, delicious and aesthetically pleasing.

01:40For decor, I also give five stars.

01:42Quirky and bright.

01:43A charming atmosphere to enjoy a sunny afternoon lunch.

01:46The staff were five stars.

01:48Attentive and friendly.

01:50I wouldn't be able to fault the staff if I tried.

01:52The price, I will give four stars.

01:54As it is slightly pricier, but is well worth the cost considering the great tasting food,

01:58pleasant atmosphere and economic circumstances.
