While the first White Duck album went virtually unnoticed, the second and last "In season" has acquired some notoriety over time being John Hiatt's first official step into the music business. Hiatt partecipates with two self penned songs and they are perhaps the best of the album. Pretty good US country rock, with tearfull ballads, where the four official members each contribute songs as singers and songwriters.
John Hiatt - guitar, vocals. Don Kloetze - guitar, piano, vocals. Mario Friedel - guitar, vocals. Paul Tabet - drums, vocals. guest: Doug Yankus - guitar. Dyle Grishman - steel guitar. Andy McMahon - piano. Lump Williams, Steve Mendell - bass. Skip Rogers, Buzz Bason - background vocals.
