"Only 10% of ammo used..." Indian Army Air Defenders share details of take down of Turkish drones

Amritsar (Punjab), May 19, 2025(ANI): Indian Army shows a demo of how Indian Air Defence systems, including AKASH missile system, saved the Golden Temple in Amritsar and cities of Punjab from Pakistani missile and drone attacks. Indian army personnel said, "Only 10% of ammo used..." to struck down Turkish drones.

01:28tactical control radars, fire control radars, counter US systems, long range surface to air,

01:37radar guided missiles, heat seeker missiles और AD gun weapon systems है

01:43हमारी layered or tier defense, जैसे आपने DGMO की conference में उसका mention सुना होगा

02:13यह expected था कि पाकिस्तान retaliate करेगा और हमारे मुख्य air bases और military installations को target करेगा

02:23बट तो आर सर्प्राइज कुछ कामिकाजी drones, surface to surface और air to surface missiles

02:32जो की directly golden temple के लिए वहां से launch की गई थी

02:37लगबग तीन दिन तक they tried to damage our air bases and military installations

02:44सक्सेस नहीं मिलने पर इन्होंने यही कामिकाजी drones और rockets को civil areas, गुर्दवारा साहिब और religious areas को भी target किया

02:55all of the air raid was intercepted and shot down with such precision

03:01more so over civil population ने भी हमारा कभी साथ नहीं छोड़ा

03:05आप इसी बात से अनुमान लगा लिजिए कि तीन दिन में हमारी ground-based air defense, weapons और army air defense का सिरफ 10% ammunition ही expend हुआ था

03:19I must tell you this, हमारे जवान, they were charged up, जैसे ही conflict के days बढ़ते जा रहे थे

03:27they were full of josh and shooting down drones with more accuracy, they were unstoppable

03:33हमने काफी quantity में कामिकाजी drones और micro drones जैसे यहाथरी और सौंगार भी recover की हैं

03:42जो likely Turkish origin के हैं

03:45पाक का ऐसा response और quantum of air raids यहां technology को देखते हुए

03:51मैं यह कह सकता हूँ कि it is very difficult कि अभी हमारा AD wall को breach किया जा सके

03:59and we are constantly improving this grid as I speak

04:03किसा लगता है आपको golden temple की structure और पंजाब की structure के लिए चुना गया आपको कैसा लगता है

04:08हम as I started we are हमें air defenders of Punjab कहा जाता है

04:17यह पूरा का पूरा इलाका पंजाब का हमारी air defense की responsibility बनता है

04:24हमने बहुत higher commander की planning के साथ यहां पर ground level पर इसकी execution बहुत ही precision और बहुत ही अफ़ल दरजे की की गई है

04:38आपका again मैं mention करना चाहूँगा layered and tier defense

04:44हमारा AD wall इस तरीके से बना हुआ है कि कहीं भी कोई भी missile किसी ना किसी लेयर पर कहीं ना कहीं किसी भी weapon से वो जरूर intercept या shot down होगी
