01:14she makes a deal with the witch Baba Yaga
01:17to bring him back to life.
01:19It comes with a great deal of repercussions

01:24even in death.
01:26Now, let's look closer at the ability kits
01:29and gameplay styles.
01:31Romeo is a fencing master,
01:33swinging his rapier with natural elegance,
01:36while Juliet is a sharpshooter
01:38who wields a gun with a steady hand.
01:40We wanted to create a design
01:43that was both contrasting and complementary.
01:46Primarily, we wanted to have unique synergies
01:49between the two characters.
01:51Romero and Juliet share the
01:53until death do us part trait,
01:55which lets a hero consume part of their health
01:57to heal the other.
01:59But it also bonds them to death.
02:02If one definitely dies,
02:04the remaining hero's heart breaks
02:06and they definitely die too.
02:10That's the most pivotal part of their kit,
02:12but not the only one that links them together.
02:15Let's focus on Romeo for a little bit.
02:18As a fencer,
02:19he can chain a series of attacks with his rapier
02:22and use his dash in the combo
02:24to perform a rush attack,
02:26passing through enemies.
02:27He's very agile,
02:29perhaps even more than Aladdin.
02:31That's also true for his defense ability,
02:33where Romeo makes a series of deflects,
02:36blocking any enemy attacks.
02:38He can trigger a riposte
02:40with a flurry of strikes
02:41after his defense moves.
02:43In Raven's Watch,
02:44Romeo is probably the most romantic of the couple.
02:47That's why he can throw a spinning rose
02:50with his power ability,
02:51which deals damage along its path.
02:54Enter Juliet,
02:55the aristocratic lady shoots with a pistol
02:58and must stay aware of her ammunition.
03:01Her dash, though, lets her reload.
03:03And if she's got any ammo left
03:05while triggering her defense ability,
03:07she will shoot the closest enemies in a spiral

03:12Juliet can also hold and shoot a power bullet
03:15that pieces through enemies.

03:20it creates a perfect shot
03:22with a 100% quick chance.

03:30If Juliet parachutes it,
03:32the rose will explode
03:33and deal damage all around.
03:35The Shakespearean couple would not be complete
03:39without a kiss on the battlefield.
03:41Triggering the special ability
03:43of both Romeo and Juliet
03:45will make them call for their lover.
03:47If the other responds,
03:49they'll dash towards each other
03:51to exchange a sweet smooch.
03:53There are plenty of other interruptions
03:55between Romeo and Juliet
03:57with talents and ultimate abilities.
03:59But we think it's best to keep a few surprises for you
04:02to discover on your own
04:04or with your friends.
04:06You may wonder how it works in Solo then.
04:09Romeo and Juliet remain co-op characters
04:12that are best played together
04:14due to their unique synergies
04:15and synchronized moves.
04:17We didn't want to strip them off
04:19abilities or ultimates,
04:21so we created an emulated version
04:23of the missing lover
04:25if specific moves are triggered.
04:27A few talents, though,
04:29are excluded from the pool
04:30available in Solo
04:32and they are exclusive
04:33to two-player gameplay.
