00:00Good morning! Merry Christmas! Ho, ho, ho! I love this time of the year. It's nice and
00:09cold this morning and it's raining. It's my kind of weather. Boot weather, scarf weather,
00:14hat weather. I love it. Winter is my favorite time of the year. Now when it comes to my
00:19personal life, I don't want any winter. I just want all spring. So Lord, give me some
00:24spring. Winter seasons come and go in our lives and we suffer hardships, loss,
00:32everything. So much people go through nowadays and we shed tears. But the
00:37scripture says joy comes in the morning. It may not be tomorrow morning, but it
00:41will come. So I was thinking about Christmas and how I have such great
00:47memories. My mom created such a fun and safe environment, cooking from cookies to
00:53phenomenal meals all from scratch. No box foods in my home growing up. We played
00:59board games. We sing a lot of Christmas carols. My dad would get on the guitar and
01:03we would all sing. I would play piano. We just had a lot of fun, a lot of good
01:07memories. But as I'm reminiscing about my own life, I know many right now, some have
01:15contacted me, some I have met with. They're going through it. They're struggling.
01:19They've lost a loved one. And this is their first year, this first Christmas, they will
01:24be without that loved one. I went through this five years ago, my family and I, and
01:28it was the hardest time for me. I'll be honest with you. I wanted my daddy back and I had
01:33a hard time that Christmas. I didn't want to celebrate. I just wanted to cry. So I'm
01:37overly sensitive now because I recognize when people lose someone, it's so hard that
01:42especially the first season is very hard being without mom, dad, grandma, the child, the uncle,
01:50the good friend, whatever it is. So I wanted to encourage all of you ladies to reach out
01:56to someone this year who you know has suffered a loss or has lost a job. I have friends who
02:03have lost jobs. They're losing their homes. They're going through so much. People who are
02:09just going through, who are estranged from their families, who are struggling maybe with
02:13depression. There's so many things people are going through nowadays. Give them a card. If
02:18you have money, extra money, maybe buy a candle. We females love nice scent of candles, a Starbucks
02:25card, candy, maybe a Visa card, $25 Visa card to help them with groceries. Just, it's the thought
02:32that matters. And I just wanted to encourage all of us, including me, to think outside of the box
02:38and let's reach out and help people find their joy this Christmas because it is the most wonderful
02:45time of the year. Jesus was born. Without the baby, there wouldn't be a cross. So reach out to someone,
02:53get with your family, get with your friends and see who you can help this year. Show love, show God's
02:58love and help people find joy this Christmas. And that's all I wanted to say. Merry Christmas.
03:06Ho, ho, ho.
