00:08Christmas as most of you know and this is going to be our third year of doing the 12 days of
00:15Christmas giveaway we are going to be starting on December the 2nd and going for 12 days and
00:21you that participated last year I know you had a blast it was so much fun but only 12 women can
00:27win and so you need to start claiming it now start praying about it now but in these packages
00:33we I will be putting in my devotional book that I wrote a few years ago called Monday mornings with
00:39Stephanie there will be another book that's inspirational that will challenge you and then
00:46also we'll be putting a journal in there and Christmas ornament in there some Christmas candy
00:52in there and it's some other random items will be will also be put in there and I'm actually
00:57going to start putting the packages together the first part of November so I can be proactive
01:02because this is such a busy season for me and I know for everyone else but as we go into fall
01:11it's not quite fall here in Austin it's starting to get cooler I'm so excited all next week is it
01:16going to be in the 70s and 60s and I think even some 50s so I am ecstatic because you that know me
01:23know I love Christmas I love the holiday season I love cool weather I am definitely a fall winter
01:30person I could do it year round and I love to light pumpkin candles fall flowers pumpkin pie pumpkin
01:40coffee anything pumpkin anything fall I love it but even though this is my favorite time of the year
01:45unfortunately there's a lot of people this is not their favorite time of the year there's a lot of bad
01:50memories there are a lot going through major difficulties right now I know several of my
01:57friends who have lost loved ones this year this is going to be the first Thanksgiving and their first
02:03Christmas without the loved ones so when they're sitting down to eat they're gonna be reminded yet
02:07again he's gone she's gone and I faced that it will be eight years ago with my father that first
02:15Thanksgiving first Christmas it was brutal it was I didn't even want to be there to be honest
02:20I just want to go home and cry that raw those raw feelings and you miss your loved ones so much I
02:27mean my dad was in a way a rock in my life and I would never see him cracking his jokes again or
02:34throwing out let's reach the world he had a plan let's go do this let's get out let's go overseas let's
02:40eat let's start this let's I mean he just was very passionate and he was a great father and I still miss it but I remember that first year was so hard and I still miss it
02:47but I remember that first year was so hard so a lot of people going through that then a lot of people are dealing with separation
02:53estranged relationships dealing with a wayward child that's nowhere around divorce sickness people are in the hospital people are dealing with cancer heart disease all kinds of situations are going on
03:09this is the best time of the church for us the women of God to show who Jesus is he's the light of the world and really after all that's what Christmas is about so reach out to someone
03:21if you're in the same city take them to coffee send them an encouraging text maybe buy a little gift let them know you care let them know that you are there for them because so many people need encouragement we hear it all the time we're living in a hurting and broken world
03:38we are I've been there before and I'm so thankful for those who were sensitive and did reach out to
03:44me so I encourage you to think about reaching out to others this year too and I'm going to say it
