00:44In an exclusive interview with FMT, the former United winger reflected on the historic moment
00:50when the club secured its first top division title in 1992 after a 26-year wait.
00:57I think the first league was always a huge one for me as a Man United fan growing up in the 80s,
01:08watching Liverpool win everything.
01:10And my first full season, we just lost out to Leeds as well.
01:14So when we first won that league, that sort of gives you the confidence to then go on and win so much after that.
01:25Second only to this victory was United's 2-2-1 triumph over Bayern Munich in the 1999 Champions League final,
01:33one of the club's most unforgettable matches.
01:54United scored twice in injury time to complete a dramatic comeback, securing an unprecedented treble that season.
02:03I think it's young wingers who play with risk, who try things, try and take players on, try and obviously score goals, make goals but also excite at the same time.
