Dhaka (Bangladesh) May 16th 2025 (ANI):  Transgender activist joined a growing protest against the backlash from hardline Islamist groups opposing progressive gender reforms. The protest centers on recommendations by a Women’s Reform Commission—established by the interim government—which proposed recognizing sex workers as formal labourers.
