00:01My interaction with the book of Revelation has been lifelong.

00:06I mean, I remember reading it as a kid and being so confused.

00:15You can fly into Istanbul. From there, you can visit a number of places.

00:21There is a lot of application and relevance between the seven churches of Asia

00:25and what our culture is going through.

00:30We are living in a time of uncertainty and doubt.

00:33In many ways, I feel like we as a church, we've given in to the fear.

00:40Over 10 years ago, we had three Christians martyred here in this country.

00:44That was quite a wake-up call.

00:46We had plans of moving to Saudi Arabia for a while.

00:49I felt out of place. I always knew that there were people watching me.

00:53To make sure that we didn't spread our faith.

00:56We've asked ourselves, why would we go? Why should we go?

01:29We've asked ourselves, what are we doing here?

01:32When you give up a lot of the things that are comfortable, it hits your spirit deep.

01:36And it calls you to the place that is beyond.

01:40So it could be that the churches in Revelation are assembling in places like this.

01:46They're not good people, just like you and me.

01:48I grew up with stories, oh, there are tunnels under this way, under that way.

01:53We went this far, but we were scared we came back.
