02:55With Bono, here's a guy who is a rock singer who has done more to articulate what Christianity

03:01is really about than most of we preachers.

03:03We're looking for some kind of a new moral center.

03:06The person who's done more than anybody to promote these is Bono.

03:09Gosh, if the churches won't get involved, the rock stars will have to cry out.

03:14And so Bono, you know, raise up Bono.

03:17You're leaving out the tough stuff.

03:19You do have to, you know, confine yourself to certain moral strictures if you want to

03:24call yourself a Christian.

03:27I would disagree with them.

03:29According to this critic, unbiblical and historically unreliable.

03:34That's true, isn't it?

03:35I am a gay affirming pastor, which means I don't see it as a sin.

03:43The church is a whore.

03:46And she's my mother.

03:47We're a preacher in Michigan who says there's really no hell.

03:51I believe the man is a false teacher.

03:54I believe he's a heretic.

03:56There's power in listening to the heretic.

03:59And today I actually think that we need to listen to a few heretics.
