00:00I must say something, Gemma, just on a personal note, I do cover this story, obviously.
00:05And I found the images of the aftermath of this Israeli airstrike.
00:11It was harrowing. You know, it's nine strikes on a hospital.
00:18I understand that they're looking for Mohammed Sinwa, and this is what the IDF are saying.
00:25But right now, you said we're getting into absurd territory.
00:28What have we heard from the United Nations? What's their response to this been?
00:33It's been impassioned, for sure.
00:36So the United Nations' top humanitarian official is called Tom Fletcher,
00:40and he's the head of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs.
00:45And he briefed the Security Council on Tuesday.
00:48That's when he said they must act now to prevent genocide.
00:52He said, we have life-saving supplies ready now at the borders.
00:58We can save hundreds of thousands of survivors.
01:01We have rigorous mechanisms to ensure our aid gets to civilians and not to Hamas,
01:05because obviously that's been one of the arguments that Israel has used
01:09to not allow aid across the border.
01:11God bless you again.
