00:00The National Food Authority or NFA reiterated that the rollout of the 20 pesos rice program through Cariwa centers is not politically motivated.
00:10NFA Administrator Larry Laxon clarified that the program had already been planned as early as last year in coordination with Agriculture Secretary Francisco Chulorel Jr.
00:21and emphasized that the implementation of the program will continue regardless of the outcome of local elections.
00:30As of now, 20 pesos per kilo, NFA rice is being sold in 32 Kadiwa centers across various locations.
