Transcript
00:00Hello, I'm James McMirovich and happy National Donut Week. Between the 10th of May and the 18th of May, it's a big celebration of the humble arts of the donuts.
00:14They come in all sorts of different shapes and sizes, some with fillings, some covered in sugar, some covered in absolutely anything else like a Twix or a Snickers.
00:22And some of our more independent places like this, Green Donuts, here on Dudley Street in Wolverhampton.
00:27Come here to try some of the donuts. I've actually been here before, so I know what they like, but for the benefits of the camera, I need advice.
00:34Now, can I get four bits?
00:36Yes, please.
00:39Traditional donuts made of a special recipe that the owner would not tell me in the context of death.
00:45Or less.
00:50A big bag of lovely sugary donuts. Let's take a look at what we've got, first of all. See that?
00:56Lovely, it's actually melting in my hand right now, coming in a good layer. So, me eating on camera again, apologies in advance.
01:09That's brilliant. My mouth is covered in sugar. I'm getting a lot of, I'm getting the taste of the oil and the flavours with it.
01:16This is a really good donut. And it's two for four quid. You can also get, up there, about five, five for a ten.
01:24Well, sorry, ten for a five. So, you can get a really good deal here. So, this is what Green Donuts do.
01:32Enjoy a donut this week, and most importantly, get yourself out, have a donut, enjoy an independent donut.
01:39Thank you very much and cheers.
