Description: Jamnagar, (Gujarat) May 14, 2025 (ANI): Falla village in Jamnagar, Gujarat, has become self-reliant in security by installing emergency sirens and providing walkie-talkie facilities to the village panchayat. Talati Mantri Riyanshi Bhogayata stated that these measures were taken following government directives during recent war-like tensions between India and Pakistan. This marks the first emergency blackout preparedness in the region since 1971.Riyanshi Bhogayata, Talati Mantri of Falla village, said, "During the recent war-like conditions that arose between India and Pakistan, as per the instructions given by the government and the administration, emergency sirens have been installed in the village. To make people aware of the first emergency blackout in the city after 1971, emergency sirens have been installed... Walky-talky facility has also been provided to the Falla village panchayat..."
