00:00On the other news, Malkin Laon's on-and-off behavior is keeping LGU officials, PIVOC seismologists and those living near and around the volcano, many of whom may have been displaced on edge, especially after today's latest pre-tawn release of ash and volcanic debris.

00:18Categorized by PIVOC's experts is a moderate explosive discharge that lasted roughly 5 minutes and sent ash and debris shooting to 5 kilometers high.

00:30Canlaon's last eruption portends or portends of an even more hazardous and catastrophic blast.

00:42Canlaon volcano erupted again early this morning.

00:45According to PIVOC's, this indicates that a hazardous eruption remains possible, especially since the volcano is still under alert level 3.

00:54PIVOC's director Teresito Bakolkol explained that the eruption can be classified as a moderate explosive one.

01:00He said it lasted for about 5 minutes and released a thick plume reaching 4.5 kilometers high.

01:15He said it can still produce hazards like asphalt, volcanic gas, and pyroplastic density currents na nakita natin and ito ay pwede pa rin magdulot ng significant impacts, especially near the crater.

01:29A loud rumbling sound was also heard in parts of Canlaon City.

01:33May pyroplastic density currents din or PDC na bumababa sa southern slopes ng vulkan and may naitapong malalaking bato and nasunog yung vegetation sa paligid ng bunganga.

01:44Kaya yung nakikita nyo kanina na yung may mga videos na nagkaroon ng illumination, nasunog yung vegetation sa paligid ng vulkan.

01:53A pyroplastic density current is a fast-moving mix of volcanic materials and gases that flows down the slopes of a volcano.

02:00It is highly dangerous because it incinerates everything in its path.

02:04Before the eruption, PIVOX observed a drop in sulfur dioxide level.

02:08According to Bakulkol, the volcano's conduit was blocked, causing over-pressurization, which then led to the eruption.

02:15Ashfall was reported in La Carlota City, Bagu City, and La Castellana.

02:20PIVOX continues to urge the public to remain vigilant.
