00:20it's one big family competing with one another.

00:30Pero, kukunti lang ang mga kaso.

00:32Like, for example, sa Cebu.

00:33Yes, that's an established political dynasty, no?

00:36Although, it's, you know, it's not yet over.

00:39But the gap is huge, no?

00:42And, para sa akin, unexpected.

00:44Anong nangyari doon, no?

00:45I mean...

00:46It could be local politics, no?

00:48Siyempre, malaking bagay yung nasuspend si Governor Gwen,

00:52yung uncertainty noon, malaking bagay rin yung...

00:56Siguro, yung response doon sa government...

01:00Yung governance nila, may mga issues rin, eh, na local.

01:04Hindi ako masyad...

01:05Doon, naniniwala na ang influensya galing sa laba sa Cebu.

01:09Eh, Cebu is a modern, you know, a modern province.

01:13It's Cebu City's a modern city.

01:16And, you know, malaking na rin yung middle class doon.

01:18So, they're also discerning and they're basically rejecting the established dynasty.

01:25And that's one of those big stories, no?

01:27Yung Batangas naman, si Ate V, nanalo, pero si Luis Manzano, umapangalawa lang.

01:32Yeah.

01:32Pero Dodo Mandanas was the former governor.

01:35Yes, oho.

01:35So, we...

01:37That's sort of...

01:37That was expected.

01:39But that prevented the fat dynasty from arising, no?

01:42Kasi, can imagine, it's not just, ano, Luis, ha?

01:44The brother is also...

01:46Yung Bunso.

01:47Yung Bunso is also running, no?

01:49So, these dynasties continue to be an obstacle to democracy.
