00:00It was a big April for Heathrow Airport and of course it's been a big year for the airport too
00:07but not always for the right reasons. 7.1 million passengers were served by the airport last month
00:17which is record-breaking for that period. This is up nearly 6% compared with April last year.
00:25The increase is largely being put down to the exceptionally late timing of Easter this year.

00:43He added they had successfully navigated their busiest April ever whilst service levels took a further leap forward.
00:52That, of course, was in reference to what Heathrow described as its highest departure punctuality out of the major European hubs.
01:03It might be worth noting that a number of airlines which use Heathrow have branded the airport the most expensive in the world for passenger charges.
01:14It has been a particularly eventful year so far for the airport.
01:20Just days before April began, the entire airport was shut down by a power outage
01:26and in January plans to build a third runway were approved by the Chancellor and her government.
01:34An interim report found power was restored to Heathrow's terminals seven hours before flights resumed on March 21st.
