00:04Today, with this agreement,
00:06we come to agreement that
00:08our reciprocal tariff rate
00:10will go down
00:12to 10% on the United States' side
00:14so it goes down 115%.
00:16We enter into a 90 day pause period
00:18for negotiations, which both the
00:20Chinese and the United States are very committed to.
00:22And the Chinese on their side also
00:24go down 115% to 10%
00:26and they remove the
00:28countermeasures that they have in place.
00:30We retain our 10%
00:32global baseline tariff, which we have on other
00:34countries. We have, in addition to that,
00:36previous measures that we've retained
00:38which have been, frankly,
00:40effective in reducing the U.S.
00:42bilateral trade deficit with China over the
00:44past few years. So that leaves us in a very
00:46good position all in
00:48with respect to measures on Chinese
00:50imports, but more importantly,
00:52leaves us in a constructive path forward
00:54to have a positive
00:56conversation with the Chinese.
00:58the Chinese had additional non-tariff countermeasures.
01:00That has all come down by
01:02115% to 10% each.
01:04The United States, earlier this year,
01:06imposed 20% related to fentanyl.
01:08That still exists. So if you're looking at
01:10Trump term 2, tariffs on China
01:12right now effective, it's
01:1430%.
01:16reached an agreement on a 90-day pause and
01:24substantially moved down the tariff levels.
01:28Both sides on the reciprocal
01:30tariffs will move their tariffs down 115%.
01:34to 200%

01:4100.
01:4200.
01:4300.
01:4400.
