00:20in depth i'm going to show you microsoft copilot and in this case i have one more difference
00:26actually every time when i'm going to use azure ai service i use my own subscription i use my own
00:31lab environment and this is where most of the people are asking me a question that if we want
00:36to do this labs how can we actually do that well the answer of that question is in today's video
00:42i am going to use a lab which is provided by scalable now let me tell you one thing if you
00:48want this kind of lab for any of the official microsoft courses i will be able to provide
00:53to you because we are partnered with scalable so if you are looking for this kind of lab environment
00:58i'll surely provide that to you but before that let's get started with today's topic which is
01:03microsoft copilot now microsoft copilot is one of the very popular thing because nowadays even if
01:09you're working with microsoft office you're a developer using github or you're just a business
01:14user who's using microsoft age browser copilots are everywhere i'm going to show you how exactly you
01:20can use microsoft copilot and i'm going to show you that in that scalable lab environment if you
01:26want we can share it with you this is perfect for those who are preparing for a certification exam
01:31related to microsoft azure cloud or ai this kind of lab environment are available with a chargeable
01:36basis and if you want to know more about this just put a comment in this particular video and we will
01:41surely get back to you right now without wasting time let me just show it to you how that lab environment
01:47works and what exactly we are going to do in microsoft copilot now as you can see my screen
01:53right now i have a lab environment loaded right side of this lab environment is an instruction section
01:58where it's actually going to show you each and every step which you need to do step by step also in the
02:03left side one you actually have a windows base virtual machine you can use this virtual machine and then
02:08you can actually have all the required software all the required things installed inside the lab environment
02:14ready the title of this lab is explore microsoft copilot in microsoft edge and this is one of the
02:21official lab of ai 900 course i'm just going to show you what exactly we need to do in this case so
02:27let's just started with logging in into our windows computer whenever you have this kind of text which
02:34you need to type you don't need to type actually you just click on that text t symbol and it's going
02:39to type that thing in the in the active cursor position so i think i have logged into my computer
02:45and the first thing which i'm going to check is there is an azure subscription which is given inside
02:50this lab environment remember this kind of azure subscriptions are not permanent we call this thing
02:55cloud slice which means that it is available to you with the limited duration only like this lab is going
03:01to be only for one hour so this subscription is also going to be available only for one hour now right
03:07now this azure subscription which they are showing me if i just want to check whether it's working
03:11or not i can go to portal.azure.com and i can log into my lab user and password which they have given
03:17here again i'm going to click on the t symbol it's going to type that lab user which is temporarily
03:23available and then in the password i'm going to do the same thing thank god i don't need to type this
03:29kind of complex passwords i'm going to click on sign in stay sign in and everything is ready you're
03:38going to get your azure portal where you're actually able to create your azure services so basically when
03:44you're using this kind of lab environments you don't need to worry about any payment any subscription
03:48activation you just have azure portal accessible with the lab credentials the only limitation here is
03:55this is having a cloud slide so it's going to have a limited time period associated with that
04:00also these labs are not free so do not ask me that provide this kind of a lab free of cost
04:05we also have to pay to scalable and then this is how we can share it with you so if you're looking
04:10for lab and you are ready to pay then only go for this otherwise you can sign up for pay as you go
04:16kind of an azure subscription and you can directly use based on your credit card billing let's focus
04:22on the module number five lab which is mentioned here is giving you introduction about that particular
04:26lab we are going to learn microsoft copilot in microsoft h browser we already have h browser open
04:32and what exactly we're going to do next is we will create some kind of a base document so that we can use
04:37copilot for that document analysis now i'm going to open the new tab in the browser as per the instruction
04:45i'm going to open onedrive.live.com they are showing me that in this onedrive.live.com
04:52i have to use one of my personal account so let me just click on sign in
04:59i'll sign in with one of my personal account yes i have signed into my one of the microsoft account
05:06and i am inside my onedrive page now what they are asking me next is they are saying in another
05:11browser tab open the document which is this one so it's actually a word document which is available
05:17on one of the github repository i'm just going to open that document now they are showing me that
05:22when the document is open in h select the option to edit a copy and to copy the document you can
05:29copy that to your onedrive and this document should then open in the microsoft word online automatic so
05:34i'm going to click on edit a copy you can see this is any kind of a business idea based word document
05:40which is having some content inside that i'm going to click on edit a copy it's going to ask me to
05:45sign in i'll click on sign in and i'm going to pick the same account which i have used for my personal
05:51outlook uh yes i think it's going to take some time it's going to load this document into my onedrive
06:01yes and this is all open inside your microsoft office online actually so this is my word document
06:07which is open inside office online with the help of my onedrive account sounds good now what next
06:13we have to do we have to just move forward and we have to focus on the next step this is saying that
06:19view the text document business idea document which describes some high level ideas for the cleaning
06:24business in the new york city so actually this is all about cleaning business in the new york city
06:28which they have highlighted here in this document now once you have some kind of a contextual document
06:34available we are going to use copilot and in order to use that thing all you have to do is you click
06:40on this tiny right top corner icon which is a copilot icon i'm going to click on this it's going to open
06:46copilot in the right side column and it's showing me that explore this page expand this topic discover
06:53more so these are the options which are available here now right now what they are showing me is in the
06:59chat box at the bottom of the copilot pen enter the following prompt now this is a prompt which
07:04they are asking me to use and this is something which is asking me summarize this document into
07:09five key points and suggest next steps now i'm going to click on this text box i'm going to click
07:16on the t symbol the prompt is available here and i'll send this thing now when i do this let's see what
07:22copilot is actually going to do in this case now i have just associated copilot into my age browser and
07:29and it was already there and i just i'm just trying to use it here now while this is processing and it's
07:34giving you some kind of a response here it's asking you a prompt here they're saying navigate to the
07:38web with copilot copilot use current web page and your browsing history to help you with this
07:44now i can say yes continue with that i'm happy with this and the moment i do this is showing me here are
07:50the five key points from the document it's talking about the business concept which is a cleaning company
07:55based in new york city specialized in cleaning offices and commercial premises it's eco-friendly
08:01approach it's talking about local employment market opportunities competitive advantages and then
08:07there are some next step which we can do we can finalize the business plan we can secure funding
08:12this is what this document is actually trying to show you and this is actually giving me a proper
08:17summarization of this document into this with certain key points available in this within few seconds
08:23this particular thing is done and this is what copilot actually can do for you now this is just an
08:29initial step actually now this is not only what copilot can do it can do a lot many things for you
08:36now i'm done the step number five so right now in spite of trying my own things inside this i'm just
08:42going to follow the step in the step number six they are saying review the response which you got from
08:48the copilot well we already reviewed that thing and he's also saying hopefully copilot has provided some
08:52useful guidance however if you have additional questions you can just ask for more specific
08:59information so let's put a next prompt which is asking for some more specific information
09:04which is like how do i go about setting up a business in new york now obviously the answer
09:10of this question is not within this document but with respect to this document this will try to find
09:15the answer from the llm which is associated with the copilot so he's showing me starting a business plan in
09:21new york involves several steps here are the concise guide to startup they are showing me write a
09:27business plan which we actually have choose your business name choose business entity whether it's
09:32going to be llc or what kind of a entity you're going to plan obtain an ei a number uh register for
09:40texas obtain permits and licenses they are actually showing me all the steps which i have to follow when
09:46i'm focusing on the business in new york now this looks good they are also giving me a reference link
09:52here they're saying what kind of business are you planning to start and then there's a reference link
09:55which is ny.gov which is a new york state business website which is great step number seven is also
10:03done now they are saying review the response we already did that so that's great uh there is an important
10:08information that ai generated responses is based on the information publicly on the web while it may be useful to
10:15help you to understand the steps required to set up businesses it is not guaranteed a hundred percent
10:21accurate and it does not replace the need for a professional advice so you cannot totally depend
10:28on this particular answer that's what they are just trying to mention here but yes we know this very
10:33well and we are just doing this thing for a learning purpose this is not the actual business we are going
10:38to start so that's perfect let's move to the second section which is saying use copilot to create content
10:44for a business plan now without wasting time let's move forward to the next step in which we are going
10:51to discuss about business idea dot docx and in this business idea we are going to put another prompt now
10:57in this document which is still open i'm going to specify in the copilot that i want you to suggest a name
11:04for my cleaning business and i'm just sending the prompt now based on this document they're going to analyze
11:11and they are giving me something which is perfect for a cleaning business in new york and they're
11:16giving me a couple of suggestions i think they've given me 10 suggestions they're giving me green glam
11:20cleaners eco shine solutions eco pure cleaners eco clean pros whatever cool so they've given me 10
11:28suggestions now let's say i'm i've reviewed this thing and i'm saying i'm going to say let's go with the
11:33first one which is green glam cleaners so i'm going to say let's go with the first one and i'm going to
11:40send that prompt so it means i'm deciding this is going to be my business name now once the business
11:46name is decided i'm going to register a business or we have to create logo for branding we have to set
11:52up a website these are all types things are there actually and that's what they're suggesting me so now
11:58based on the content of this document i'm going to say i want to first create a business plan for my
12:03business and that's the next prompt which i'm giving
12:08now they are saying here is a business plan for green green cleaners and then they are showing
12:13me a business plan with executive summary business concept market analysis competitive advantage
12:19financial plan and all those things in any particular step if i want more details i can surely put that
12:25thing in the prompt and then that's the reason at the end of this every response they are actually
12:29asking me what do you think is this something which is matching your requirement or you need some
12:33more details about that but i'm happy with this i'm following steps so i'm not going to try my
12:39experiments right now i'm just going to say uh they are saying review the response in the microsoft word
12:44pan in the file menu create a new blank document choose close the designer pan if it opens and change the
12:51name of the name of the name of the new document from document to business plan so we reviewed this
12:56thing now i'm going into file new and as they said in the new create a new blank document so this is my blank
13:04document businessidea.docx is open in this tab this is a new blank document
13:09and yes this is my new blank document which is available here they are saying close the designer
13:19pan if it opens and change the name of the document from document to business plan so
13:25this is the designer which is open i'm going to close it and this is the name of this particular
13:32document where i'm going to say this is actually business plan i'll again click on the t symbol i can
13:37type but i'm a little lazy so i don't want to type so this is my business plan document now which i have
13:42created next step copy the business plan that was generated in the copilot pan and paste it into the
13:50business plan document so this was my business plan which was generated let me just copy all the steps of
13:56that and i'm going to paste it here okay copy paste is done in the copilot pan enter the following
14:04prompt so let me just put it and i'm going to say create a corporate logo for the cleaning company
14:10the logo should be around and include an iconic new york landmark now i am trying to generate a logo
14:17i'm also specifying my requirements in that that because this company is in new york i want some new
14:22york landmark also in that and i also want this should be round so let me just send it
14:27it now they are asking me signing for the full experience so you can talk with copilot with voice
14:34share photos and you can create images together now right now i'm just saying maybe later
14:42and they're showing me sorry i can only generate images when you are signed in please sign in and try
14:48again so remember there are certain features and facilities which will be available in copilot only
14:53when you sign in now let me send the prompt once again it's asking me to sign in this time i will
15:00click on sign in i'll use the same email id which i have used for onedrive okay i have successfully
15:07signed in and now it's showing me to generate an image you need to sign in once you're signed in
15:12then only it will work so now this time third time i'm trying to send this particular prompt
15:18because i have signed in this time it should work yes i've sent a prompt it's taking some time this
15:24is a processing kind of a image which is available here let's wait for some time it's showing me a logo
15:31it's showing me green green cleaners it's showing me the iconic new york in that it's showing me the
15:37round circle logo kind of a thing so whatever i have asked for is actually showing me that in the logo
15:43the image is generated successfully by clicking on this button i can download this cool let's move
15:49forward review the image that copilot has generated we did that and then now we are saying use another
15:55prompt to iterate the design for example make it green and blue so they have a green color here
16:03so let me just do this thing i'm saying make it red and blue because green is already there i'm going
16:09to change it make it red and blue let's see now it's showing me green glam cleaners we have red and
16:17blue colors we have a statue of liberty icon also there which is great so they changed the logo with
16:22my kind of requirement now they are saying right click on the generated logo you can copy that to
16:28clipboard and you can paste it into the top of your business plan so i can right click
16:32i can copy this image and on the top of my business plan here i'm going to paste it so that is it
16:45now close the microsoft word browser tab and return to your onedrive so now i'm going to do certain
16:50things in the onedrive so this is fine i'll go back to my onedrive which is here
16:56you can see my business plan my business idea both the documents are available in my onedrive
17:03and these documents are not required anymore so i'm just going to close them
17:10i'm back to my onedrive and now with the copilot's help we have created the draft of the business plan
17:17and for this our cleaning business idea now what we are going to do is let's create a copilot to
17:23perform some calculation that will help our further refine the business plan so in this case we are
17:28going to create a new excel workbook and we are going to change the name of that workbook to financial
17:34projections so i'm going to click on new i'm going to say it's going to be an excel workbook once this
17:41is created we'll change the name of this from book to financial projections
17:54and now again we are going to use copilot so in this copilot pen i'm going to enter this following
17:59prompt which they are saying create a table of projected profit for the next five years starting
18:05with this year the profit this year should be ten thousand dollars and it should increase by 12
18:12percent each year now i have given the prompt let's wait for some time it's showing me here is a table of
18:18projected profit for green green cleaners over the next five years starting with this year and the
18:24current year is 2025 up to 2029 they are showing me this projected profit uh now we review this thing
18:32now they are saying copy this table to the clipboard and being careful that you're selecting just a table
18:39then select a cell a1 in the excel workbook and on the home tab in the clipboard menu under the
18:45paste spatial select values only so let me just copy this table only first
18:52it's little tricky
18:56we'll copy in this a1 we'll right click and paste spatial and values only once we do this it's asking
19:06me this alert here that your text has been auto field that's okay keep it on
19:10now you can see here projected profit is actually available in this particular excel sheet
19:17so this is it this is something which is done second step they are saying in the copilot pen enter
19:24the following prompt let me add another prompt and it's a what's a good way to visualize these
19:29projections in the chart
19:30they're saying a great way to visualize these projections using a line chart line
19:37chart are excellent for this one and they are showing me in x-axis and y-axis what kind of values
19:42they are going to showcase in this and also the plot points and connecting the dots fine i'm going to
19:48put another prompt which is how do i create a line chart in excel i'm asking this question
19:55it's going to say enter your data input data into an excel spreadsheet for example you can have this kind
20:00of a years in the column a and projection profits in the column b which we already have
20:06and then after that they are saying select your data highlight the data which you want to include
20:11in the chart insert the line chart by going to insert tab in the ribbon and in the chart click select
20:17the line chart icon so this is something which they are showing me that how exactly i have to do this thing
20:22now following the guidelines which are provided by copilot they want us to create a line chart
20:27so i have to select this data
20:32they are showing me that highlight the data you want to include in the chart
20:36then go to the insert in the ribbon and in the chart group so this is my insert then we have charts
20:47which is this one and then we are going to select a line chart
20:51and then choose the type of the line chart which you prefer so i think i prefer a simple first line
20:58chart only which is this one and yeah it's opening the chat section here panel is also here
21:07okay it's showing me that i selected something wrong okay i have to select only the values not the
21:12labels so i did this thing wrong i have to select only this values then insert i'm sorry guys i'm not
21:20expert of excel and i can make this kind of mistakes but yeah now i think it is fine it's showing me the
21:26values associated with this now they are saying in the insert line chart insert the ribbon in the left
21:33chart line chart so this is how i can just choose this uh customize your line chart so in the chart title
21:41click on the chart title to edit it access title so apply
21:49data is this format is this this is fine and i can just edit the chart title i can format my chart i
21:57can right click on different elements and then i can deal with that so i can right click i can format
22:02now i'm not going to do this configuration right now because this is all the instructions which
22:07anyone knows and anyone can do it so this is how it is finally after this they are saying close
22:11the chart to see the tab and in the spreadsheets it's going to show me a line chart at the end of
22:15this like this and then we can just use copilot content for the presentation also now so this is
22:22just in the excel sheet we have done this now we are going to do this thing with the powerpoint
22:26presentation so that's the next step so let's just directly move into that i'm going to create a new
22:31powerpoint presentation in my onedrive so creating a new powerpoint presentation guys i'm going little
22:40advanced right now because this lab is actually for one hour now i do not have one hour for this
22:45particular video i'm just going to cut short certain things i hope you are fine with that if you want to
22:50try this particular lab the link of this particular lab will be available in the description of this
22:55video so you can just go and check out that okay now i have created a new presentation as per the
23:03instructions command the name of this is going to be business presentation perfectly fine and now they
23:09are saying in this one on the title slide of the presentation enter the name of this as investor
23:14opportunities so i'm going to specify investor opportunity two steps are done insert a new slide using a two
23:24content slide layout which is available in the placeholder so which includes title and the
23:30two placeholders for this so i'm going to insert a new slide quickly okay so this is available here
23:37so we have a new slide using the two content slide so this is my okay i'm going to change the layout of
23:44this to two content because they asked for that so we just have a slide which is actually having title
23:48and the two content now now changes the slide title to benefits of hiring a commercial cleaner so this
23:56is a title we'll click on the t symbol then in the copilot pen enter the following prompt yeah this is
24:03important i'm going to provide a prompt write a summary of the benefits of using a corporate cleaning
24:08company for your business the summary should consist of five short bulleted points we know that we want
24:14this content to be used in our powerpoint presentation and that's the reason we're asking for bulleted
24:19points now they are saying copy this particular one so i'm going to copy this five bulleted points only
24:28and then they are saying that then edit the reform the text placeholder until you are satisfied so
24:34we are copying this and we are pasting into the left of content placeholder which is this one
24:39and we'll just paste it and yeah i think it looks fine but yeah we can change the fonts we can edit
24:46it as we want next again we are going to put another prompt in the copilot which is create a photo
24:52realistic image of a clean office now remember they've added a word photo realistic image so this is not a
24:58logo this time and it knows that thing and that's why it's going to generate a realistic image with this
25:03let's see that yes it's a photo realistic image which is available here
25:07i can copy this image as they have mentioned here so when this image is generated and if you like it
25:12actually you can just go to this if designer paint automatically select the site uh which you design
25:19you close the designer that is fine uh apply this additional formatting if you want on this but yeah
25:24they are just saying ask copy this and paste it here so i'm just going to copy and paste it here
25:29the image will be available they're asking me that whichever design i want to associate with this i think
25:34uh i think the second one looks perfect so i'm going to choose this design this is an image this
25:42is my bulleted points and this is a slide which is coming with this it's perfect and uh we applied
25:48the design which is fine now they are saying open the new browser tab and use it to download this
25:54particular png image now this is a separate png image and there are further steps which we have to do
25:58with this but i'm not doing it right now i'm just going to close the designer pan and i hope you understood
26:03that within a few seconds or minutes we have actually generated a professional looking
26:08slide it has a proper image it has all this particular content and the good thing is this
26:13is all original content no one is going to say that this is a copied content from somewhere because you
26:18have generated this content with the help of generative ai so remember all the content from generative ai is
26:25an original content this image this bulleted points everything which you are doing right now
26:30it's going to save your time it's going to make sure that your work is going to be authentic and
26:35unique that's something which your microsoft copilot can actually give it to you so that's it for this
26:42i'm not going further in this all the steps right now i hope you understood the point of this particular
