00:03Now the Compact Cup, Conor Grady came through after a disappointing qualifying effort

00:06to claim in the end a fairly comfortable win over a great four-way battle for second.

00:11Let's see what happens then. The lights go out now and away we go, as was the case in race one.

00:15It's a good start for Simon Waterfall, not such a good start for Aston.

00:19So I think Millie Hart will hold on to the lead on the inside line.

00:21Will she? There's a bit of leaning, but yes, Millie Hart manages to hang on to the advantage.

00:25That was Danny Harrison peaking to the inside for fourth position.

00:28And around he goes. Does he always lost it? Danny Harrison back into the pack out of Old Hall Corner.

00:33And that is going to be a sizable incident on the avenue.

00:37And that will be a race stoppage almost for certain as the rest of the field make their way down the hill at Cascades.

00:45But Danny Harrison got sideways. The car spat back into the pack.

00:48And unfortunately, others piled in. There is the scene.

00:51So Harrison's car going no further. I think that's Claydon.

00:54Oh, and the 27 machine as well. 27 of Adam Wright.

00:57So two of our frontrunners in the Compact Cup involved in that one.

01:01And that is a real shame, Paul.

01:03Yeah, that's a real, real shame for our frontrunners.

01:05We missed much of the action, of course, from the dirt that was kicked up from cars off a racetrack.

01:09But it has taken a good proportion of our field out.

01:12We're still under green flag conditions, of course.

01:14But expect that to change, I would imagine, Andy.

01:16Very, very soon indeed.

01:17Because there's a whole lot of clean at work needs to be done.

01:20And unfortunately, you put a car that looks like a touring car and loads them together.

01:25And you ask them to go through a few corners.

01:27And these usually happen.

01:28Look at Connor Grady.

01:29He must have been caught up in all of that.

01:30Because he's lost a whole load of places.

01:32He's mid-grid now in the Compact Cup.

01:34Now, remember, he was the next car behind Danny Wilkinson, who was the first one to get sideways.

01:39So, as Danny came back into the pack, Connor probably had to take to the grass to avoid.

01:43So, Connor Grady, for the second race in a row, finds himself with a lot of work to do to get back into contention.

01:48Be interesting to see if the car is clean or how much damage is on that BMW.

01:53We saw him a little bit in the long shots, just trying to gather the car back together again.

01:57But this is a BMW Compact Cup, so you never know.

01:59He probably needs gathering back together anyway.

02:02But it will be interesting to see if Grady's in strife, as there is the 22 to cover into the racetrack.

02:07And a red flag is out.

02:09That's not a huge surprise to see.

02:11So, Aaron Tipler then rejoins.

02:13But, well, not good to have a red flag.

02:16Of course it's not.

02:17However, for Connor Grady, this is not the worst news.

02:19Because we will go back to the original grid positions when we go racing once again.

02:24And he, of course, started on the Compact Cup pole.

02:26He is not at the front of the Compact Cup field at the moment.

02:29But will be able to reclaim that position.

02:31Of course, before that, though, there is a lot of cleanup work to be done on the exit of Old Hall Corner.

02:35And at least three cars, I think, that need to be recovered.

02:41And they're badly damaged as well.

02:42So, drivers need to be attended to first to make sure they're okay.

02:45Only when it's been established that it's the case can the cleanup operation begin.

02:50And the cars that need to be recovered will be loaded onto flatbed trucks and carted back into the paddock area.

02:58But there you can see the remains of the two cars.

03:03Danny Wilkinson's 1 Series and Adam Wright's BMW Compact.

03:06That's a lot of damage to Adam Wright's car, isn't it?

03:08That's a heck of a lot of damage to the front of that car.

03:14That's not going to be an easy snatch, I don't think, for that BMW.
