Pedro Martínez y su esposa Carolina Cruz Martínez recibieron doctorados honorarios en Letras Humanas durante la 121ª ceremonia de graduación de Fisher College, celebrada el 10 de mayo de 2025 en Boston. El reconocimiento destaca su impacto filantrópico a través de la Pedro Martínez Foundation, que ha beneficiado a más de 100,000 niños en la República Dominicana y otros países. Además, la institución anunció una beca de $5,000 para apoyar el trabajo de su fundación.
